*ring ring
I hear my phone but I don't open my eyes. I blindly grab for my phone.
"Hello?" I groan.
"Oh no. Did I wake you Taylor?" I hear my mom's voice speak through the phone.
"Yeah. Yeah."
"Well you need to get up, T. It's 11."
"I got home at 1 last night mom."
"Get up and come eat breakfast."
"Are you in my house?"
"Yeah, come on."
I mumble an okay before hanging up. I throw on a hoodie over my sports bra that I slept in, and pulled the hood over my head before walking down the stairs, into my kitchen.
"Hi Taylor."
"Hi mom." I say and plop down on the barstool, lying my head down onto my arms.
"How are you today?"
I give her a thumbs up without lifting up my head. She places my food in front of me.
"Eat."
"Mom I am thirty- three years old."
"Shut up and eat."
"Yes ma'am."
My phone buzzes in my hoodie pocket.

Yeah, give me a few minutes
Or a few hours
Mom is here.I see another notification from Travis. I almost forgot. He texted me at 7:00. Why the fuck is he up so early?
Travis
Good morning
Hi, sorry good morning.
Id love to come watch you play,
and I really loved talking to you
tooI hit send and of course smile when I do it. I love the begging of new relationships. Not that we're in a relationship, but it could be one and I love that.
"Who are you smiling at Taylor?"
"Oh- um, no one."
"Taylor Alison Swift."
"A guy, mom. A guy." I blush very hard.
"What guy?"
"We just started texting last night. It's new."
"Okay," she blinks, "what guy?"
"Travis Kelce."
"Kelce? Like Jason Kelce?"
"That's his brother, yeah."
"What does he do?"
"He also plays football mom. Kanas City? Beat the Eagles last season for the Super Bowl?"
"Oh. Tight end, right?"
"Yeah, that's him."
"Tell me about him. How'd you meet?"
