"You ready?" Seungmin is scrambling around trying to make his hair look better.

"More ready than you, it's my parents... they don't care." Jeongin rolls his eyes and turns off the light switch in the bathroom.

"Hey!" Seungmin poked his head out, a cold look on his face as he glared at him.

"Let's go!! I told them were arriving in 10 minutes, and it's a 10-minute drive!"

"What?! Why??" Seungmin is sweeping the floor, from how fast he's running to Jeongin. So much for doing his hair.

"Ah! You boys are here! Oh my gosh!" Jeongin's mom rushes over to them, already suffocating them in hugs.

"Hi... mom" Jeongin squeaked out. Seungmin was next, so he was quick to throw his arms around her.

"Hi, if you need any help you can always ask us." Seungmin grinned, and her face glowed with flattery.

"Oh no, it's okay, I'll ask you guys to come eat in a bit." She pats Seungmin's cheek with an earnest smile.

Seungmin nods and follows Jeongin to his room. They both noticed his brother's door was slightly cracked open.

"Ugh, bummer, wish it was just your parents here." Seungmin sends a playful glance.

"What?! Hey!" Jeongin pushes him away, disgusted. Seungmin lands on his bed.

"I'm just kidding!!" He laughs, and he rolls around on Jeongin's bed. He sits up with a pillow on his lap, "Hey."

"Hm?"

"Don't you miss being at home?" Seungmin asks, Jeongin swirls around in his chair.

"No? Not really." Jeongin's face didn't evoke any new emotions. Seungmin pouted.

"I think I'd always miss it..." Seungmin remarks, he looks up at the ceiling, thinking if he would.

"Well... makes sense why you always miss me." Jeongin scoffs, but his smile is sweet. He turns around in his chair to join Seungmin on the bed.

"No, it's just, aren't you so used to it, you'd miss your normal life?" Seungmin still pesters him with questions. Jeongin rolls on his back staring at him.

"I mean yeah, but with your nagging ass, I forgot all about it." Jeongin pinches his sides, making him squirm.

"Ugh! Stop it!!!" Seungmin says, pushing Jeongin around. He looks at him with a cheeky smile.

"Come kiss me before we can't anymore." Jeongin purses his lips, his eyes fluttering close already.

"...fine," Seungmin mumbled, he cupped Jeongin's face and softly pressed their lips together.

"Boys!! Come eat!" Jeongin's mom calls. They break away and Jeongin is the first to leave. He looks back with his tongue sticking out and a devious grin. Seungmin smirks.

"It looks so good! Thank you for the food, Mom." Seungmin says, glancing up at her if it's okay to call her that.

"Of course, here eat more." She piles up his plate till it's double its size.

They quietly eat together. Silently chewing and low slurping noises from the soup. Seungmin could feel Jeongin's brother's gaze burning on him.

It's a bit awkward, but at least they haven't kicked him out yet. Jeongin's dad clears his throat. Everyone looks up.

"Seungmin, what did you major in again?"

Oh.

"Engineering, sir." Seungmin was quick to answer. He dabs the corner of his mouth with a napkin.

"Hm... do you have a job yet?"

"No sir."

Jeongin glances at Seungmin and his dad, quietly trying to tell him to stop.

"Well, son, I think you'd do mighty fine in that career." He nods and continues to eat.

Son?

Both of his actual sons scoff. Seungmin looks at them both. Jeongin shakes it off, telling him to continue eating.

Seungmin does so... but he glances up at Jeongin's dad. He smiles.

He smiles, "Good job! I knew you were my son!"

Seungmin grins, his two front teeth missing, but it still made his dad smile even bigger.

"Now, Seungmin, continue eating, or else you can't play!" A sweet voice, but as Seungmin tries to remember... all he sees is a blank face. Dark brunette hair, and a white sun dress. Why can't he remember?

"Seungmin, are you okay?" Jeongin's mom asks, "Is the food not to your liking?"

"Huh? No! It's really good, I just... spaced out, that's it." His hands wave in defense. Her face softens.

"Okay, that's good."
