Chapter 3

As Kevin sway lightly he woke up with a start and then he remember he is going home from his first day of college.

Ethan voice vibrated from above 'You woke up. Do you feel okay now? I was going to wake you up just now.'

Kevin noodded and said 'Yeah. I am fine. Don't worry.'

Kevin 'How much time till we reach home.'

Ethan said 'We will reach shortly.'

Kevin nodded 'Okay.'

As Kevin started to get up Ethan said 'Just keep lying. Its alright.'

Kevin smiled and said 'Okay.'

After sometime they reached home and their both families mother were at Wilson's house chatting about their things.

They went inside and said 'We are back mom and aunt.'

They both smiled.

Rylee thought They are just so beautiful I can't explain and they make us feel home. Its outwordly how much love we get from them. We love them so much.

They said 'Welcome back. How was your first day at college.'

Kevin replied 'Tiring.'

Ethan said 'Good.'

Rylee said 'It was so thrilling and meet so many people that I wanted to prank someone.' But his eyes glanced at Ethan and he went silent.

Ethan moved to the kitchen to get something. Rylee shuddered seeing him leave.

At that time Oliver said 'It was fun to see new things.' shifting Rylee's attention.

Isla nodded and smilingly said to Kevin 'Do you want to go to your room? Do you feel tired, honey?'

Kevin nodded and said 'Not much sleepy but a little tired.'

Ava said 'Then go to your room and rest for some time.'

Kevin nooded and went towards the stairs to go to his room.

As Kevin moved his leg to take a step Ethan came from kitchen with one glass of water and he gave it to Kevin to drink.

Kevin took the glass of water from him and drank as much as he can.

He put the glass on table and went towards stair but stubbled on his feet.

As Kevin thought I will land on the floor.

Ethan supported him and said worriedly 'You okay. Did you hurt yourself somewhere?' Kevin shook his head no.

Then Ethan sighed with relief and directly carried Kevin in his arms upstairs.

Kevin wasn't shocked because Ethan has done this many times before. Kevin just hooked his neck and made himself comfortable in his arms . His arms are always Kevin's heaven and they are broad full of muscles.

Kevin sometime wonder is it genetic or his own doing but it feels good to lie in his arms.

As they reached Kevin's room he told Kevin to unlock the door so Kevin pushed the handled and he went straight towards Kevin's bed and laid him on it and searched for the a/c remote to power it on.

As Ethan said he will go downstairs so Kevin can rest.

Kevin unconsicously sat and grab hold of his t-shirt from back.

Ethan turned and sat beside Kevin and asked 'What Happened?'

Kevin just pulled his arms to Ethan and Ethan hugged Kevin in his arms.

Kevin said 'I want to lie in your arms.'

At this Ethan just pushed his shoes off his feet and lied down with Kevin on his bed as he do everynight.

Kevin closed his eyes and rested his head on Ethan's chest listening to his calming heartbeats sounding in his ears. Ethan caressed his hair and back.

Kevin asked him 'What are you thinking about?'

Ethan said 'Nothing much. Just how peaceful this feels. But you should be careful if I didn't caught you just now you will have hurt yourself.'

Kevin nodded and smiled 'I ll remember it. But you are always there to catch me.'

Ethan said 'I ll always be there but you should take care of yourself more. Okay.'

Kevin 'Okay.'

Ethan asked curiously 'How were the  classes? Did you have any trouble in anything?'

Kevin replied patiently 'No. Oliver handled everything as we have the same classes. Classes were okay too. They were full of students and one time I almost couldn't sit in the class but Oliver managed to get the seats. But the one beside me was too talkative. I got a headache listening to him.'

Ethan narrowed his eyes and said 'Which class it was? Who was the teacher? I ll talk to him about this. Did he do something too?'

Kevin supported his chin on Ethan's chest and said 'Don't be like this. He didn't do anything to me. He was just casually chatting because this was our first time meeting. I was happy to chat with him but the class was going so my half mind was on class which got me a headache.'

Ethan said ' What did you talk to him? Did you also told him your name?'

Kevin replied 'Nothing serious. Ofcourse I told him my name or I can't just say I don't want to tell you my name.' 

Ethan's hold on Kevin tightened slightly but he was careful to not use much force.

Ethan nodded in understanding but Kevin knows he wasn't pleased with his answer.

Kevin thought He is too overprotective.

But Kevin knows how to please him.

Kevin said softly 'An look at me. You know you are my most precious friend and family to whom I share everything. No one will take your place so don't be upset about it okay. Trust me. Okay.'

Ethan said 'Its not like that you are so innocent that I can't control myself from overthinking what if someone has ulterior motive towards you. I can't imagine my life without you V.'

Kevin knows about it all so he said 'I know An but the world is so small but equally big for us. We  have to face everthing on our on from now on. You are with me, right. Nothing can happen to me.'

Ethan nodded and thought You are precious to me V. I ll always protect you.

Ethan kissed Kevin's forehead gently as a promise to keep him safe from harm.

They kept their eyes closed for some time after that.
