Carley my best friend and I were currently laying on the nice cool grass staring up at the moon.
"Why the heck would you think that, that's so specific " I say amused
"I don't know just thought so... I'm gonna miss you" (she turns her head to look at me.)
She met her mate yesterday and we were hanging out before she had to go tomorrow morning. I honestly have no idea how she convinced him to let her stay a day most men especially with a ranking like his would just snatch her and take her straight to their pack.
"You'll only be two packs away, and besides you'll be beta female so you can just request me to visit you" I laugh lightly she's not laughing
"You know how Alpha Stone runs his pack probably the same way he treats his mate strict and unkind."
It's true I've heard rumors about Alpha Stone and what he's like but I like to know someone before making judgments. Pulse I've met her mate well kind of and he seems nice enough.
"Be careful make sure you don't have any slip-ups saying that kind of stuff when you go tomorrow your mate may be the beta but disrespecting an alpha on his territory... Big no-no"
"Im scared (she grabs my hand) what if I'm not a good beta female what if he doesn't like the way I cook what if I get on his nerves what if the entire pack hates me what if..."
I interject
"You'll be a great beta female your kind smart strong and you already know some stuff being the deltas daughter and all... so stop worrying they'll love you like I do"
" ok Ellie Golding... relax.."
I can't help but burst into fits of laughter and neither can she.
"Lets go back inside its getting cold lets clean ourselves up and watch a movie" I suggest we love movies.
"Omg!! Look" she screams as we make our way back to the pack house.
"What is it (I say looking around frantically )"
"That grass blade looks like a little hand," she says amazed.
I look at her "Really Carly, I thought it was something serious..you scared me" I say clutching my chest
"Ok lets go inside" she says casually like she wasn't just screaming two seconds ago.
