The next morning, it was decided that we would go to Nusa Penida by a private boat. I was excited as we were going to do a lot of water sports and, damn, I am a sucker for adventure. All of us boarded the boat from Ubud port, the anticipation palpable among our group.

"Nanduuu Darlinggggg," Navya sang in my ear, back-hugging me.

"Navyyyy Loveeee," I sang back, matching her enthusiasm.

"What are you planning to do first?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

"I think I'll start with snorkeling. I've heard the underwater life here is incredible," I replied, my excitement growing.

Manik, who had been leaning casually against the railing, couldn't resist joining in. "Snorkeling, huh? Are you sure you can handle it? I mean, a fish might think you are a part of their school and take you with them, kiddo," he teased, a mischievous grin playing on his lips.

I shot him a playful glare. "Oh, please, Manik. The only thing the fish might mistake me for is a mermaid. Rest assured no fish would be around you considering this huge sea monster might nom-nom them up."

He chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "A mermaid, huh? Well, let's hope you don't get too distracted by your underwater kingdom and forget to come back up."

I shot him a playful glare. "Oh, please. I can handle it better than you, Mr. Overconfident"

"Is that a challenge?" he asked, raising an eyebrow, his grin widening.

"Maybe it is," I shot back, crossing my arms defiantly.

Navya giggled, clearly enjoying the exchange. "I can't wait to see who wins this little challenge. My money's on Nandini."

"You are my best friend navya"

"Sooo She is my sister, blood counts"

As the boat sped towards Nusa Lembongan, the banter between Manik and me continued, our words like playful jabs thrown back and forth. The rest of the group watched with amused smiles, clearly entertained by our antics.

Once we arrived and anchored near the shore, we wasted no time gearing up for snorkeling. As we slipped into the cool, clear water, Manik swam up beside me, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

"Ready to lose, Nandini?" he taunted, splashing water in my direction.

I laughed, splashing him back. "In your dreams, Manik."

We dove beneath the surface, the underwater world opening up before us in a breathtaking display of colors and life. Schools of fish darted around us, and vibrant coral formations stretched out as far as the eye could see. For a moment, the beauty of it all made me forget the playful competition between us. He held my hand and we swam together and suddenly he let go did a 360 flip and turned towards the shore.
