The trip to Bali was nothing short of amazing. I bonded well with everyone, but Manik stood out with his relentless efforts to win my heart. Every time I let my guard down, though, my past nightmares and painful memories resurfaced, prompting me to push him away. Despite this, he never gave up. I felt the happiest around him, yet I couldn't bring myself to show it. Manik treated me with such care, almost like a child, and although the whole Bali trip felt like a fairy tale, I longed for something just out of reach.

Abhimanyu and Dhruv were great, but their quiet nature made it harder for us to bond deeply. Nonetheless, they always made sure I felt included, never allowing me to feel like an outsider. Now, the wedding festivities are about to begin, and I'm filled with nervous excitement. As we landed, Navya and Cabir never left my side, their presence a comforting anchor in this sea of emotions.

The wedding venue was a whirlwind of color and laughter, with Navya and Cabir at the heart of it all. They radiated joy, their love story culminating in this beautiful celebration. We were all busy with the preparations, and the energy was infectious.

"So, what are you planning to do today?" Mukti asked, eyes twinkling with excitement.

Before I could respond, Manik appeared beside me, a teasing glint in his eyes. "Probably planning to avoid me as usual. Right, kiddo?"

"Maybe I just don't want to deal with your constant teasing, Manik."

He smirked, leaning in closer. "Oh, come on, kiddo. Admit it. You love the attention."

My heart skipped a beat, but I maintained my playful facade. "In your dreams, Malhotra."

"Yes you are every single night," he replied, his voice dropping to a low, intimate tone that sent shivers down my spine.

I was saved from responding by Cabir, who called out from across the room. "Hey, you two! Less flirting, more helping! This wedding won't organize itself."

We all laughed and got back to work, the lighthearted banter helping to ease my nerves. As the day progressed, Manik found every opportunity to be close to me, his touch lingering that left me blushing.

The day continued we were done decorating we left to get ready in our individual room. Time passed and I heard a knocking on my door.

"Nandini are you ready" I heard Mukti knocking

"Yes Mukaa just give me five minutes!" I said opening the door

"Fuck you look ravishing darling" She said hugging me!

"Oye Madam where are you lost" She said

"I was just thinking how my life has changed after meeting you guys"I said

"But mishthi how can you think? That requires brain and you lack that organ" She teased and my jaw dropped!

"You are mean" I said pouting
