Chapter 11: Cheating?

You can say that either none of this is really real, or they're actually in love. Felix and Hyunjin have been dating for almost a week without anyone knowing, not even their members. They finally agreed to announce their relationship to them. Over this, they've both developed a relationship where you cannot say that they're friends. Sure, they've acted all lovey-dovey in front of them, but never mentioned it literally.

So one snowy morning, they decided to go for it. Hyunjin went to see how Felix was doing trying to make them believe their relationship, but when he got there, he heard sobbing. It was Jeongin, he was sobbing and his cheeks were filled with beads of tears. The small boy was surrounded by three others who were comforting him. Felix was to Jeongin's right and Chan on the other and Minho was next to Hyunjin on the floor.

"Jeongin-ah, why are you crying, hm?" Hyunjin asked Jeongin as he sat down next to Minho on the floor. The brunette looked at Chan and Felix and then to Minho who just shrugged meaning they didn't know either. 

"Please tell us, I.N!" Minho sounded so sympathetic and calm for once. 

"If someone hurt you, tell them I'm your hyung!" Chan said in an angry frustrated voice.        "N-no..." Jeongin whimpered as he wiped his tears away. "S-Seung-min..." Jeongin stuttered as he tried not to cry.

Everyone around I.N exchanged dark looks with each other as they heard the name. How could Seungmin, Jeongin's protective yet cute boyfriend hurt Jeongin like that?

"What?! What did Seungmin do to you?!" Minho asked, extremely angry and confused.     "We... we- broke... up!" Jeongin's lips quivered as he burst into tears as he said it.                "Why would he break up with you all of a sudden when you guys were madly in love with each other?" Hyunjin asked the sobbing boy who hugged his knees.

"Well..." Jeongin sniffed, "Seungmin and I were in a garden and he kissed me as we were sitting down on a bench..." Jeongin paused to wipe his tears away and continued with a sigh. "And two of our staff members, the same ones who are to keep an eye on Hyunjin and Felix saw us and approached us. We instantly parted lips and they told us to come with them to the JYPE building where they took us to our manager and JYP..." Jeongin paused.

"The two staff members told them what we'd been doing and saying the worst things about how everyone was disgusted..." he sighed, "JYP asked us, 'Do you really love each other?' and we both nodded in reply. He then sighed and said, 'I think we all know what's best for you two, break up'." Hyunjin thought that it would be best if they didn't tell their affinity to the others, not after this.

Chan went mad and stormed over but Jeongin held his wrist to stop him,                                     "Wait! Where are you going?!" he yelled. "I'M GONNA MURDER JYP—" Chan's shoutings got cut off by Jeongin whose grip around Chan's wrist softened and whimpered. "If... he thinks that's what's best for us... he's probably right, isn't he?" Jeongin mumbled quietly. Chan sat back down next to Jeongin.

"Yeah, but... he can't just hurt you like that, that's absolutely not okay!" Chan said softly. "Do you want to see Minnie?" Hyunjin asked the smaller boy, he was referring to Seungmin.       "I really do... but the staff told us not to see each other..." Jeongin sniffed.

Hearing Jeongin, Hyunjin and Felix looked at each other in disapproval and worried that their relationship might turn out the same way. But Seungmin and Jeongin broke up a week before Christmas Eve. They didn't want the same to happen to them.

"Do you guys want to play charades?" Chan asked, trying to change the sad topic. Everyone agreed, even Jeongin who began cheering up a bit.

"A table? No wait - a lion...? A cat?!" Minho tried guessing what Chan was trying to picture. Hyunjin and Felix sat with each other but not show any love so Jeongin wouldn't feel bad. Minho sat with Jeongin on the couch. "Oh! A fish!" Felix finally guessed it right and it was his turn.
