JACK POV

As Nat was taking the oath, I couldn't help but stare at her beauty. She was beautiful. She was so mysterious. No one knew what that cloak was hiding. Finally, the oath was finished. We all congratulated her and everyone took turns hugging her. I was last. She smiled at me, and I smiled back, "Welcome to the team Nat," I said before hugging her. My bare feet touched bare feet, and we looked down. She didn't have any shoes either. "Twins," She smirked. "Oh, I don't know about that, unless your wearing brown pants and a blue sweatshirt under that cloak of yours." I joked. "The cloak comes off in battle." she said with a wink. I laughed. "Oh, I must go, winter must be brought." she smiled. "Oh really? I can help with that! Where are you going?" I asked. She pointed to that familiar spot on the globe. "Jamie's town!" I exclaimed. "Let's go!" she said, then stopped, "Got any big windows North?" she asked. "I know just the one," I smirked, pulling her towards my special spot. I opened the window. "Can you fly?" I asked her. "Yup, and I know you can fly, too! It's funny watching you play with kids," she laughed. She then put her hood up, and jumped out, flying towards the town. I chuckled, and jumped out as well.

It was amazing. Just watching her fly through the air. I was hoping to see if her cloak would move, but it didn't. At one point she stopped, removed her hood, shook out her beautiful blonde hair, and continued on, her hair flowing perfectly in the wind.

Ok, I admit it.

I kinda have a crush on her.

But once I get to know her, maybe that crush will change.

When we got to the town, I immediately started to frost things over. "Uh, no! That's not how it works, maybe in your world, but not mine Frost." she chided. A flame shot from her hand onto my frost, melting it. "Hey!" I complained. "Watch and learn Frost. First, you bring the wind." she flipped up into the air, and I followed. She did some weird hand motions and suddenly wind was coming onto the town. It blew a man's newspaper away, and it pushed a girl into a boy, and they smiled and kissed.

Awh. That's so adorable!

Do NOT tell anyone I said that.

"Next, you bring the first layer of ice," she said. I started to go, but she grabbed my hoodie, "I said ice, not frost Jack." "But I can make ice too!" I complained. "Not this special ice that makes the snow stick! I bet you just bring the snow first and pray it sticks!" she argued. I blushed and looked down, she was right. "That's what I thought," she chuckled. She flew down to the ground by a pond, and scooped up some water, holding it in her hand like a snowball. She blew on it, and it turned purple. Not like dark purple, like a different shade. Maybe lavender. She pulled out her bow, and brought an arrow with it. She then threw the snowball into the air, and shot her arrow, hitting it perfectly. Shards of ice flew as the ball shattered. She tugged on my hand, "C'mon Jack, snap out of it, we have to get out of the way!" I followed her up into the air, and watched as a layer of lavender ice covered the ground, spreading out to make a huge sheet of ice everywhere. "Now my favorite part, the snow," she sighed excitedly. She flew back to the pond, grabbing two handfuls of water. She then twisted them around each other, and they became one big ball of snow. "This is the best part," she whispered. She began to draw patterns all over the ball in that lavender color that seemed to be coming out of her fingertips. Once the ball was covered with patterns, she threw it up and hit it with a snow-dusted arrow, and snow started falling. When snow fully covered the ground, then she smiled at me, "Now we bring frost to keep the snow there! Then you can bring your own snow and frost and ice Jack!" we few up into the air, and she flew back down, riding along the ground as frost flew from her hands. She also took her bow and plucked the string twice, turning it into a staff with a symbol on top. The staff did the same thing mine was doing. We quickly frosted the whole city. We landed on the dock that was by the pond.

She looked so pretty, with snow dusted into her hair. "So, who is Mother Nature? How about a game of 20 questions?" I asked. "Ok, um, what do you want to know?" she asked nervously, blushing. "What's your name?" I asked. "Mother Nature, or Nat." she answered. "No, I mean in your past life. Before you were Mother Nature." I said. "I wasn't anyone before I was Mother Nature." she said. Oh, no. She has the same problem I did. I'll have to get Tooth to show her later. "Oh, ok. What's your favorite color?" I asked. "Purple and green, and some shades of blue." she answered, looking down. I smirked. We kept going, and soon enough, I knew practically everything about Nat, and she knew everything about me. Now we were sitting on the edge of the dock. We were laughing and talking and laughing some more. "Am I one of those shades of blue you like?" I winked. "Not a chance Jack! Why are you asking? Am I one of those shades of purple and green you like?" she asked. Yes. "Not a chance Nat! C'mon now, be serious!" I said. She laughed, and gave me a warm smile, and walked out onto the iced-over pond. I smiled. She was absolutely perfect.

Ok, the crush hasn't changed.

I think I really like her.

If anything, the crush has gotten bigger.

"JACK!" I heard a scream, shaking me out of my trance. Nat was in the water, for she had fallen through the ice holding on for dear life at the edge. "HOLD ON NAT I'M COMING!" I yelled, racing over to her. Her eyes were full of pure fear. I grabbed her, and started to pull her out, but her cloak was making her heavier. I pulled and pulled and finally she was out, and shivering like crazy. I wrapped her up in my arms, and flew right to North's workshop. "Wait, don't you have fire powers?" I asked. "They've gone out. Water and fire don't mix well," she stuttered. She clung on to me for dear life, nestling her head into my chest.

I finally got to the workshop and brought her in. "What happened Jack?" North asked. "She fell through the ice," I stated, bringing her towards the fire. I tried to take her cloak off, but she wouldn't let me. "Let me," she said. She then took some fire from the fireplace. She had trouble getting up, so I helped her. She then tossed the ball of flame into the air with a special twist, and soon enough she was in a tornado of flame. After a bit it went back into the fireplace, and she dropped back down. I caught her, and set her down again, "What happened?" I asked urgently. "Nothing, just got hit with cold too soon," she sighed. She was now completely dry. I sat with her, and we continued to talk and laugh and joke around.

Could she be more perfect?

No.

She couldn't be more perfect.

I had to get her.

She has to be mine.
