beomgyu groaned in pain. he held onto his ankle. "OMG GYU!" he heard his brother rush over to him.

it didn't take long until a crowd of people surrounded him. he held his ankle harder when he felt the pain again.

"can someone just please bring me to the nurse office?"

in a rush, two boys brought him to stand on his feet and guided him to the nurse office. thankfully, it wasn't too far away from the court.

"taehyun, hyung got hurt again!" huening kai said. out of breath from having beomgyu mostly being supported on him. taehyun rushed to help him get beomgyu on the bed.

"what happened now?" taehyun asked. taking a look at beomgyu's ankle. beomgyu hissed when taehyun touched his bruise. soobin sighed. stretching his arms and shoulders.

he huffed. "he got tackled during football earlier," taehyun clicked his tongue. this wasn't the first time beomgyu got seriously injured. he was glad beomgyu didn't end up with a broken leg already.

"seriously hyung? I've already told you to stop playing for awhile. your arms are bruised enough." beomgyu only pouted at the scolding he was receiving.

taehyun thanked soobin and huening kai before they both left. leaving just taehyun and beomgyu alone together. it was silent as taehyun looked for the ointment for beomgyu.

"you aren't mad right?" beomgyu asked, playing with his fingers. taehyun shook his head, heading towards beomgyu.

he sat down beside the said male. "you've been injured so many times already hyung. I don't like it. I just want you to be careful." beomgyu shrugged. It wasn't that big of a deal for him. he was fine with it.

beomgyu would take a bullet if that means he gets to spend time with taehyun. that was the main reason why he had asked yeonjun, one of the members from the opponent team to make him fall.

did he regret it? a bit yea because now his ankle hurts like a bitch but was it worth it? totally.

beomgyu hissed in pain again. "sorry, just a bit more and then I'll bandage it. it'll hurt for probably 5 days, a week latest. just try not to walk too much. I already told your teacher that you'll have a two weeks rest so don't even think about coming to school. not even for football. especially not for football."

beomgyu was about to object but the stern voice taehyun had used intimidated him.
thus, he kept quiet. watching the younger bandaging his ankle so gently. he swore taehyun had the prettiest hands. "you're pretty."

taehyun paused his action when he heard beomgyu's remark. he ignored it, continuing what he was doing. he tried his best to ignore how his cheeks were heating up.

"I can't believe our college has such a pretty nurse. a smart one too. what a whole package he is," beomgyu sighed dreamily but it was quickly replaced with a groan.

"argh! what the fuck taehyun that hurted!" he said. taehyun had purposely tighten the bandage. taehyun only shrugged at beomgyu's complaint. not paying much attention.

"you're staying here until the day ends. take a rest I'll wake you up then,"

it had been a week since beomgyu's whole ankle incident. he was swinging his legs, waiting for taehyun to come. it was when he could open his bandage. not needing it anymore. beomgyu counted in his head, taehyun always came in time.

just in time, taehyun walked in. "oh. you're early,"

beomgyu only gave taehyun a smile as he raised his leg up slightly to taehyun. taehyun giggled at that.

"ok, ok I get it hold on,"

taehyun crouched down. carefully, he unwrapped the bandage. just as he predicted, the swelling went down. gone actually.

"how are you? have you been walking fine?" he asked the latter. beomgyu hummed. too focused on the brunette. it went silent for a few. taehyun cleaning up. as he was doing that something caught beomgyu's eye.

"what's that?" he asked. taehyun followed beomgyu's direction. he snickered before responding.

"it's just a stethoscope. have you never seen one?" he joked. beomgyu shrugged. "yea I have obviously. what's it used for actually?"

taehyun furrowed his eyebrows. "have you not been to a hospital or something?" nonetheless, he answered.

"it's to hear sounds from you heart and lungs. mostly your heart." beomgyu nodded. he took the stethoscope and made taehyun wear it. it weirded taehyun out but he learnt to just go with it.

beomgyu took the bell part of it and place it in front of his mouth. "what're you doing?" the younger questioned. beomgyu ignored him and continued.

"kang taehyun , beomgyu's heart says he loves you." he whispered into the bell. taehyun wasn't believing his hearing so he didn't give beomgyu a reaction.

so, again he repeated. "beomgyu's heart says he loves you. he really does."

"did you hear that? did the stethoscope pick that up or should I just tell you right here right now?"

to say taehyun was shocked would be an understatement. "what do you want me to say?"

beomgyu gave him a deadpan look, resulting him to laugh. "I'm kidding. well uhm this is a bit awkward cause you know I like you too and well I only volunteered to be a nurse here because I wanted an excuse to treat you since you kept hurting yourself while playing football. I figured I could just take the opportunity,"

beomgyu giggled. "luckily for you, your favourite patient does the same." the wink beomgyu gave him made the younger gag. "don't do that."

"too bad. you have to deal with it." he sighed. "this means I get to have a personal nurse. this is amazing,"
