Ch 14.

Brady let me stay with him for quite awhile. I kept my car, stayed at the same school and whatnot. Nothing really changed except Braxton and I were over and I have bloomed into a new relationship. Brady and I have been in a relationship since about Braxton left me. I knew Brady was 100% supportive and he actually cared as if it was his. At times I wish it was.

Brandon had tried contacting me. I told him he was becoming a grandfather, but I told him I wasn't sure if he'd be able to unless his son maned up and apologized for hitting me and whatnot. That's abuse. I know all about that.

I'm about two and a half weeks pregnant. Puking has gone a way, and I have a slight baby bump. Can't tell I am pregnant though yet.

Everyone knows I am pregnant.

Stupid big mouths.

Great thing?

They think its Brady's. He okay with it. I tell everyone it is. They are all relieved it wasn't Braxton's. Sometimes I wonder why..

That's when Brady told me the story.

*FLASHBACK* Brady's P.O.V.

We were 15. Braxton and I inseparable. Sure we've grown apart, and this is why.

When we were 15, Braxton had gotten Ashley Mueller pregnant. What happens? He leaves her. She has tried to get him involved with the baby, but he refuses. Only threatens. She decided to move on and she moved to Missouri. Haven't heard from her since.

That's when I got it. Braxton was already the father of a child. He abandoned it. Left it with a young mother. Not helping a single bit.

Maybe he is afraid of commitment. Babies? He'd be a great father if he tried.

I missed Braxton at times. But if and when he is ready, he'll talk to me. Until then. I am happy with Brady. He is better than Braxton will ever be.

As Brady and I went home, I saw a note on the door.

" Dear Aliza,

My beautiful Aliza. I should be apologizing for what I did.

I didn't mean to hit you, it just came out of fury. If I could take everything back I would. Not the pregnancy part though. I can tell the baby will be beautiful just like its mother. I need you to know my story. About Ashley. Ask Brady. He'll tell you. That's why I am so afraid. I know I have matured Aliza. Give me a chance. A chance to love, and most importantly to be a good father.

I love you gorgeous, think about what I am staying.

I cried reading it. I hated him, yet I love him like my own.

I knew what I was going to do. I was enthusiastic.
