Just another normal day?

How did this happen?!

Jasmine's P.O.V:
"Carter, were you bit?" I said with concern in my voice as I spotted a few poisonous snakes and spiders around him. He looked at us and shook his head no. I turned to my parents and saw that my dad was on the phone.'Probably calling the animal control and someone else' I thought to myself. I look at my brother and carefully made my way to him, being sure not to step on the snakes or spiders. When I made it to him, I carefully picked him up before he got bit and threw him to my mom as she watched in horror before catching him, now I was stuck in the middle of snakes and spiders. I look at my mom in fear but I kept my calm as my dad turned around and saw that I was in the middle of the snakes and spiders. "Jasmine! What did you do?!" My dad snapped. I carefully pointed at my brother. "All I did was Switch his place with me" I said in fear. I noticed my dad come closer and made sure to be careful as he made his way towards me. He picked me up and my mother sat my brother down as he threw me to her and replaced me with himself. "Dad, stop! I was fine over there! I could've waited for some animal control or something!" I yelled as my mother grabbed me. "I'm not scared of snakes or spiders, but you and your brother are." He snapped in a hushed tone. Eventually the help he called for arrived and the snakes and spiders were taken away and I held my brother close and hid his eyes from what he feared for the most. I whispered sweet things to him to keep him calm and he feel asleep. I took my brother inside and laid him down on his bed upstairs in his room. I walk back down stairs and sat down on the couch and started playing with my phone. I sighed in content that the day was coming to an end and I could go to bed soon. I grew tired before finally getting up and going towards the stairs to my bedroom. "Ugh-what a boring day"(I grumble after changing into better clothes for the night and laid down in my bed for the night.
