I still hate you

For a long time, Taehyung has always been manipulating, demanding and overall cold. He ran the biggest and the most dangerous mob all over Korea. If he wished he could go out with his friends, have fun, enjoy the life he has got. He would have gone out for golfing, or would have gone for clubbing, drowning himself in alcohol and staying passed out till next morning. But he just couldn't even if it was something he wanted to do in his early days. But now, his life consisted of keeping a straight face and controlling others. But there was only one person he couldn't control and that was you. It was really frustrating for him though. And he knew you weren't the type to get controlled by.

For the last few days, Taehyung has been keeping tabs on you. When do you wake up, eat, leave your room, visit library. He found out that you would mostly be in the library. So, he particularly avoided coming across that hallway. He figured out your schedule and successfully dodged you for last few days. It wasn't exactly what Taehyung wanted. He didn't like all of this, despite the flirty and confident side he puts up. This was the first time he tried to hid or run from someone. There was something about you, he wasn't prepared for, at all. But he also wasn't ready to get off of the high horse yet.

Signing the last document and shutting the file closed, Taehyung looked up at his dad, who was sitting there patiently for last few minutes, waiting for his son to complete his work.

Taehyung still remember being a kid, sitting behind his father's desk, observing carefully, how his father acted or worked. Taking in how he talked with his clients, how he dealt with those who did him wrong. He would also wait downstairs, eagerly waiting for his dad to finish the meeting so he could learn about the new deals and everything about the mob. His parents would always, Taehyung is the born leader.

But Taemin had also taught Taehyung that there's a line between work and family. He never wanted his son to become like him. There's time and place to be closed off, and there's time and place to be loving. He didn't understand after all of this, how his son turned out to be so cold.

"You have an event coming up. I suggest you to take y/n with you." Taemin noticed how he clenched his jaw at the mention of your name. "She didn't went out for days now."

Taehyung just shrugged casually. "She can go if she wants to. I have not cuffed her." He wanted to get over with this conversation as soon as possible but he knew with his father, the conversation could be just as long and short as his father wanted it to be.

"With what, Taehyung? Poor girl doesn't even have any transportation." It was true though despite Taehyung owning one too many cars, you didn't have any source for transportation. Taemin sighed "Go out with her, get to know each other and who knows maybe you"ll hit it off."

"And then what? Live rest of the life happy ever after just like you and eomma?" Taehyung got up from his seat, slamming his hand onto table, making Taemin flinch. "News flash, appa, y/n and I have stuck in a stupid agreement which we can not get ourselves out of, you and eomma fell in love."

"She's making quite an impression, isn't she?" The tension in the room was extreme. Taemin nodded, because in one way or another you were getting to Taehyung. Whether it be frustrating him to the point of acceptance or be it slowly making your way to his heart. "What are gonna do when you have to pass this on to someone? This job was given to you, Taehyung, not Namjoon or Seokjin. And if I wish, I could give them all of this with just a snap of my fingers."

"Please, don't bring up kids-"

"Taehyung, you had an entire life before this to wander around and do whatever you wanted to but... now this is all real. You have to be responsible. You can either accept her in your life and live happily or you can just consider her as another person living under your roof, your another responsibility and live a miserable life. It's upto you" Taemin firmly stated, making Taehyung sigh in defeat. Ofcourse he could never stand against his dad.
