The sky turned from black to a pale blue as Fury hops up from her bed and stretches. She smiled as she turned towards her dresser and combed through her purple hair and then put her armour on. Fury steps down the stairs and into the living room of her home. She took a turn into the kitchen where she grabbed a breakfast bar and walked outside.

"Hey Strife." Fury called with a smile as her brother passed out of the trees. He waved and picked up the pace. "Morning." She said, "what're you doing out this early?"

"Just, I couldn't sleep well. So I took a walk." He confessed. Fury motioned for Strife to sit on the swing with her. "What about...never mind." Fury shook her head.

"You mean, Kikyo. Don't you?" He asked. Fury nodded and stared out into the brush. "I'm fine Fury. Really I am. I had to do it." She nodded again as she remembered what he told them. "Hey, don't think about it. No need to." Today was the anniversary that they became the last ones.

"Alright. Do you want anything?" She asked.

"Yeah, um...drink I guess." Fury stood up and walked back into the house and grabbed a bottle off the top shelf in the fridge. I still don't get you Strife. She thought returning to her brother who proceeded to walk across the yard.

"Here." Fury said and threw it to him. Strife unscrewed the cap and lifted his helmet a bit, he took a long sip before putting the cap back on. "What do you wanna do? I've got some games inside, if you want to get Death and War?"

"Maybe." He said shrugging. He stepped up the stairs and followed his sister to the living room and sat on a chair. "I'll get 'em later."

But Strife didn't have to get one sibling. Death knocked at the door and waited for someone to answer. He knocked again. "Wait a minute!" Fury called and grabbed another water bottle.

"Took you long enough." Death chuckled as he stepped inside.

"Why are you here?" Strife turned to him. "I thought you'd be at your home, asleep still."

"Death never sleeps. I had to take a few lives last night and then I heard you talking to yourself. I'm surprised that you didn't sense me." Death took a seat and stretched. "So, what are you doing?" Fury handed him the bottle.

"Strife was going to get you and War so we could do something." Death went to open his mouth when they heard something, a call for Strife and Fury. "Masters." Fury said and hurried to make a portal, Strife quickly followed. Death shook his head and sighed heavily.

They appeared before the Charred Council and bowed. "Masters." The siblings said. They rose their heads.

"There has been a disruption in Heaven causing a violent one on Earth, it's from the same source." One of the heads stated.

"You are to find it, and stop it." Another boomed. "We can only think of what it is."

"Yes masters'." Fury said and Strife nodded. "But where sirs?" A portal opened up, it was in a rather quiet part of Earth. Plenty of trees, stones and small animals. Nothing seemed wrong.

The sibling nodded and jumped through to the other side. They ended up landing in a thud and the ground shook rather violently. "We alone couldn't have caused that." Fury look up. The sky spun in swirls of grey and blue.

"Guess somethings happening after all." Strife chuckled and stood up. Fury hit him in the arm as he shrugged. She motioned for him to follow her toward the upset cloud formations. Birds flew away and squirrels scattered in fear.

That can't be good. Nothing's ever good when we're called. Fury thought as she removed branches. The sky grew darker and darker by the second.
