Part two: The beginning

One thing I notice with other Smut writers, is their beginnings are sloppy, not too well thought out.
For me, I like to listen to music, I usually find a song I like, I'll listen to it a bit and see if I can build a story prompt from that song's story.
Or I take inspiration from roleplays I do, or other fanfics or stories I read, I always, ALWAYS have a plan before writing.

Example:
The chapter "You're my one and only" was inspired from a roleplay I did not long ago.
The roleplay was simple, Foolish and Veggetta are dating, Veggetta starts spending time with spreen, not being home until late, Later foolish hears rumors about Veggetta, to which Veggetta denies are true, Ultimately in the roleplay they did not have makeup sex LMAO the roleplay version of this chapter ended in the two crying and hugging each other to comfort one another. Assurance.

Another thing about the beginning is execution.
A lot of writers try to do POVs, I don't. I always write in the third person, it helps execute my stories better.
Worrying about POVs can make you as a writer stress and worry about how to word and execute things in specific ways, when writing in third person, especially with smut, its a lot easier to execute and go with that poetic/dramatic/whatever theme you have going on. (:
