The senses begin to slowly return, yet the will and courage to move, or at least open her eyes, are yet to come. (Y/N) knows she's laying on some surface, some old uncomfortable mattress she thinks. There is a weight on top of her, weight of something covering her form and keeping her warm, a blanket maybe?

The next sense that return to her is the hearing and smell, it's very, very silent in here; no sounds of the forest, no birds chilling, no leaves moving, nothing. Just dead silence and a strong earthy scent... Earthy scent?

Her eyes open and she instantly flinches when she recognized her surroundings, the same underground room she was trapped in the first time. And in this occasion her captor made sure she won't escape, because this time instead of ropes she had a chain around her ancle, making it impossible to slip out like she did the last time.

The drowsiness and sleepiness are quickly replaced with fear, the girl frantically looks around, as if trying to find any anomaly in the room that could hint that this is just another of her nasty nightmares and that soon she will wake up.

But that hope was crushed as soon as her eyes landed on a broad figure of the man that she was so desperately trying to escape, Jason Voorhees.

He was sitting completely still, too still, she'd totally believe he's a statue if it wasn't by the subtle rise and fall of his shoulders and the quiet muffed exhales. For someone of his size, he's scarily silent.

(Y/N) freezes in place completely, her eyes glued to Jason's large figure, which was sitting on what looked like a handmade wooden chair. He was hunched in his place, elbows resting on his legs, his masked face looking genuinely terrifying and intimidating due to the poor lighting of the place, which also made it impossible to see his eyes, yet she could feel his gaze pierce through her body and soul.

This bizarre staring contest lasted for a couple of seconds, until Jason finally made a movement to sit straight. Action simple yet enough to make (Y/N) flinch back, causing her 'blanket', which resulted to be a pretty big coat, to slide into the ground. The teen presses herself into the furthest corner as she sees the man stand up, his movements very slow, cautious even, but sadly her panicked mind failed to notice the lack of aggression in his behavior. In (Y/N)'s eyes, Jason is still the same man who won't hesitate to rip someone into pieces with his monstrous strength, and all the corpses she saw before are the proof of it.

She flinched again when he steps forward, her heartbeat getting louder, almost deafening, and her body shivers uncontrollably as he gets closer to her.

—"No- No no-!... P-Please, please don't- Don't-!"— you exclaim, voice shaky and choked.

When he was just six feet away, (Y/N) shields herself with her arms and exclaims.

—"STAY BACK! PLEASE! YOU'RE FREAKING ME OUT!"—

The footsteps stopped as soon she cried these words out. (Y/N) meanwhile shrinks even more, her body contorting into a tight ball and she hides her face, sobbing quietly.

—"Ju-Just-... Just s-stay ba-back... P-Please... Let-Let me calm do- down..."— you choke out weakly between sobs, hugging your legs as tightly as possible.

It's unclear how much time passed, it was hard to track time when one is going through a literal panic attack, yet (Y/N) did her best to tame her hysteria, which wasn't easy at all but the other outcomes were even worse. The sobs eventually got quieter and the shaking slowly reduced, little by little she began to get herself together. Ones she was stable enough, the girl wipes the remaining tears and lifts her head a bit.

Jason was still in place, standing right where the stopped. The two stare at each other again, the atmosphere tense and suffocating even if nothing is happening. When the tension got too much, (Y/N) inhales shakily to try to say something since Jason seemed to refuse to take the initiative.
