My name is Jewelia Allison Rubie. I like to be called Jewel. I am 11 years old, I go to Willowlend Elementary School. (Pause) Ok, whenever I input the word pause in brackets it means that I have some few things to point out before you continue in the book. Ok, I didn't go the Willowlend for all of my elementary years. I used to go to a school named Kinlands Park Elementary. I was having a great time there. I was the toughest girl and the fastest runner, I was liked by everybody! Then one day, I came home from school and my family was like, " We're moving tomorrow!" Then I started crying and bawling my eyes out and begged my mom not to move. Then after that it was mostly just crying and really loud radio music. Anyways back to the book. (Play)
I arrived almost near the end of 5th grade, the last term, actually, is when I arrived. I was so worried that everybody would already have friends, and I was surprised. I was right, everybody already had there great, cool friends and cliques. I was a total outcast for a few days, bored and alone, but then a miracle happened! It was a very interesting type of miracle, the miracle was.......the monkey bars. (Pause) Ok, first of all I know you're thinking monkey bars, seriously O_o. Here's what happened I went on the monkey bars and there were a lot of people,so I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet some friends. So after I got up I started to talk to people that I recognized from my class, then as I grew more comfortable I started to talk to others outside of my own class.
Jokes were flying in the air as I laughed all lunch long! After when the bell rang I already made 2 new friends,Serena and Regan. That day I was actually happy. It was the beginning of a new friendship.
