A Need {Johnny Slaughter/Sawyer x Reader}

【Ｃｈａｐｔｅｒ ２】

Sonny, Julie, Connie, Ana and I all sat in the bed of the truck while Leland was in between Johnny and the old man, who we all decided to call Pa, in the front. I sighed happily as my hair whipped in the wind. It was a peaceful drive, we soon pulled up in front of a country home.

Leland came around and was about to help Ana out of the bed of the truck but was knocked out by Johnny. A sick grin on his face as a short lady in a black dress appeared from behind him. We all screamed as she blew dust in our faces. I coughed as I slumped out of the truck's bed, falling harshly onto the ground with a thump.

"Ooooh, look she's a tough one, Johnny!" The girl cheered happily as I desperately dragged myself away from them.

I heard them laugh and heavy footsteps. I glanced behind me and saw my friends and brother passed out and Johnny making his way towards me. I started to cry as I tried getting up to run. It was hopeless, not even one step and I was back on the floor. I felt so tired, but I had to get out of here.

I felt a heavy presence on my back as I was pushed into the ground. I looked back and watched as Johnny took his foot off my back. He reached down and picked me up roughly, throwing me over his shoulder and walked towards the house. I felt the tiredness take over my body.

I tried to fight, but I was soon consumed by the overwhelming feeling of sleep.

I don't want to die. Not without finding Maria, not without knowing everyone else is okay.

I let my eyes adjust to the dark room. My arms were tied above my head as a hook held me up. I felt sore, but I can't give up now. I have to find the others. I just hope they are still alive.

Struggling, I tried pulling myself up and off the hook I was tied to. I could hear a thump in a room next to me. I then heard a door creak open.

"Help!" I shouted. Someone entered the room shortly after. "Leland!" He was okay!

"Y/n! We have to get out of here." Leland said as he lifted me up and off the hook and untied my restraints.

I held his hand as we snuck out of the room and into some type of bloody bathroom. I gagged and covered my mouth. This is horrifying. What kind of sick people are they? I heard whispering ahead and noticed Connie and Sonny by a blueish grey door. She was picking the lock.

"Connie! Sonny! Thank god you two are alright." Leland whispered as we made it over to them.

"Have you two seen Julie or Ana?" They both shook their heads and shrugged.

Once the door clicked, a loud scream echoed throughout the basement. It was Ana. We all ran towards the scream. What I saw next was horrible. I couldn't help but fall to my knees and sob at the sight in front of me.

"Maria!" Ana sobbed. "What did they do to you!?" She sobbed and held her dead sister's hand.

There she was... Dead and hung from a hook. Her eyes are dull and her skin pale. She looked like she had been nearly cut in half.

"Maria! Oh my god, oh my god, I can't believe you're gone..." Connie sobbed.

"We got to make those monsters pay for this." Leland cried as he held Ana.

Sonny stood there shocked at what we had discovered. He too began to cry loudly.

"Oh my god... Maria, we didn't get here in time. I'm so sorry." He cried holding his head in his hands.

I heard footsteps running up behind me. Turning, I watched as Julie fell to her knees.

"Maria? No... No, it can't be..." Julie says in total shock.

We were all ripped out of our thoughts when a chainsaw came to life behind us. Whipping around, I watched as a tall figure step out of the shadows. He wore a mask of skin and a bloody apron.

"Fuck! Everyone run!" Leland yelled, dragging me and Ana with him. The man-made incoherent noises or distress as he chased us with his chainsaw.

We had to get out of here. Suddenly a door opened, and Johnny stood in front of us, two more people behind him. They all had some type of sharp object.

"Hey there!" Johnny laughed as he swung at Sonny nearly hitting him.

We all ran off in different directions. My heart pounded as I crawled through a space in the wall nearby. I need to get out of this dark place. I then remembered the door that Connie pick locked. I tried hard to remember where exactly that door was.

"My love, my love. Look at your love." A female sang softly close by.

I quickly hid as best as I could. She crawled through the wall's crawl space.

"Where mountains reach like fingers to the sky." She glanced around the room before opening up a freezer. "Never ask why."

She continued to sing as she left the room with a light skip. I waited a little bit before making a run for it out the room and in a random direction. I have to get out and find the others.
