In Venice – Italy;
In a small, bohemian-styled apartment in the heart of Italy, Yoo Mi Cha wakes up with a start. The room is a mess, an obvious receipt of what happen last night. Clothes are strewn about, tarot cards scattered across the table, a testament to the turmoil within her. The remnants of last night's escapade - empty wine bottles, a half-eaten pizza - are painful reminders of her attempt to drown her sorrows."Pull yourself together, Mi Cha," she murmurs to herself, rubbing her temples. Her voice is shaky, her movements erratic. Mi Cha has always been a bit different, a bit wild. Some call her crazy, but she knows it's just the remnants of a traumatic childhood making themselves known.
Before she leaves her apartment, she draws a tarot card from her deck. It's The Fool, a card representing new beginnings and leaps of faith. Seeing it, she laughs at the irony. "A new beginning, huh?" she says to herself. The Fool, in her current situation, seems to be a perfect reflection of her - standing at the edge of a precipice, ready to jump into the unknown.
Later that morning, she meets her pub co-worker who works at a local café as pat-time waitress on day time. "I'm leaving,.. " she announces, her voice steady. "I'm boarding a cruise this afternoon."
Her co-worker looks at her in surprise. "A cruise? Are you sure about this, Mi Cha?,.. when are you coming back?"
"I~ I still don't know,.." – she softly murmurs. "I don't know where this new journey will take me, but one thing is I'm sure, I need to find myself again," Mi Cha replies, a determined look in her eyes.
Her last stop is the pub where she works as a tarot reader. Her boss is furious when she tells him she's leaving. "You can't just leave like that Michaela~!" he exclaims. But Mi Cha is resolute.
"I'm sorry," she says, her voice firm. "But I need to do this."
And so, she packs her bags and heads to the pier. As she steps onto the ship, she takes a deep breath. "그래 geurae, Okay,.. Here's to new beginnings," she whispers to herself, a hopeful smile on her face. She holds The Fool card in her hand, a tangible reminder of the leap of faith she's about to take.
As Yoo Mi Cha steps onto the Royal Mediterrania and will be cruising across the Mediterranean Sea for few days, she's hit with a wave of emotions. The grandeur of the cruise ship, the buzz of people from different races and cultures, it's all a bit overwhelming. But amidst the chaos, she feels a sense of excitement. This is her chance for a fresh start.
"Woah~~ deabak~" she breathes out, her eyes taking in the opulence of the ship. Her cabin is cozy, with a small porthole offering a view of the endless sea. As she unpacks her bags, she can't help but smile. "This is it, Mi Cha. Your new beginning."
At the Ship's viewing deck;
Later that afternoon, she decides to explore the ship. She walks along the deck, watching as people chat and laugh, their faces glowing with happiness. She sees families playing together, couples holding hands, friends laughing. It's a stark contrast to the loneliness she's been feeling, but it also gives her hope."Everyone's enjoying their vacation," she says to herself, a small smile playing on her lips. "And we must too,.. we will, right Mi Cha?~" she talks to herself as if she's with someone else.
As she continues her walk, she suddenly pauses. A memory surfaces, a painful reminder of her past. Her ex-boyfriend's promises echo in her mind, promises that now lay broken. Her heart aches, but she takes a deep breath, forcing herself to let go of the pain.
