Mi Na had always been observant, her sharp eyes often catching things others missed. She noticed the growing closeness between her sister-in-law Jin Seola and her brother Yeol, a stark contrast to the polite distance Jin Seola maintained with her husband, Lee Joon. This observation stirred unease within Mi Na, "She's acting weird these days..." – she thought, referring to Jin Seola's actions.
One day, she found herself alone with her brother Yeol in the living room. The room was filled with a tense silence, the ticking of the clock on the wall the only sound. She decided it was time to confront Yeol about his past, and maybe that could help him remember and gain back his memory.
"Yeol Oppa~," she began, her voice barely a whisper. "Do you.... Do you remember a woman named Mi Cha? You came home with her that night before the accident."
Yeol looked at his sister Mi Na, his expression curious. "Mi Cha?" he echoed, his voice filled with confusion. "I can't seem to recall, who is she?"
Mi Na pressed on, her heart pounding in her chest, "That night was actually your engagement to Rina," she said, her voice steady. "Don't you remember anything about that?"
The revelation hung in the air, the silence in the room intensifying. Mi Na continued, "And Jin Seola... she's not just a friend, Oppa~,.. She's your Ex-. She married Joon Oppa~... I can't believe you're this close to her now... After what she have done in the past" Mi Na, knowing about her brother Yeol and Jin Seola's past history can't help but get frustrated in what she is witnessing now.
The atmosphere in the room was heavy with anticipation, the silence thick. As Mi Na revealed the truth, she couldn't help but feel a sense of dread, wondering how her brother would react to the truth.
On his efforts to remember the things Mi Na mentioned, Yeol's mind strained to recall the memories. His head throbbed with a sudden, severe headache, his vision blurring as the pain intensified. He clutched his head, his breath coming out in short gasps.
Mi Na watched in horror as Yeol writhed in pain, almost laid on the floor of their living room. "Yeol Oppa!" she cried out shouting, her heart pounding in her chest. She rushed to his side, her hands hovering uncertainly over him.
Their mother, hearing the commotion, rushed into the living room. Her face paled as she saw Yeol's condition. "What happened?" she asked, her voice filled with worry.
"I... I told him about the night before the accident," Mi Na confessed, her voice shaky. "I told him about Mi Cha..."
Their mother shot her a reproachful look before turning her attention back to Yeol. She helped him sit up, her hands moving with practiced ease as she reached for his medication. "Here, take this," she said, handing him a pill and a glass of water. "It'll help with the pain."
The atmosphere in the room was heavy with tension, the silence only broken by Yeol's labored breathing and the ticking of the clock on the wall. As the medication started to take effect, Yeol's breathing slowly returned to normal, the pain in his head subsiding. He closed his eyes, exhaustion washing over him as he drifted off to sleep.
The Next Day – At their Backyard;
The morning sun bathed the courtyard in a warm glow, creating an atmosphere of tranquility. Yeol sat at the al fresco, savoring his coffee and the peaceful chirping of the birds. The confusion of the previous night seemed like a distant memory.Mi Na approached him, a small, simple bracelet in her hand. "Yeol Oppa~" she began, her voice gentle. "About last night... I apologize if I overwhelmed you with those information."
