Darling youll be okay

I walked to the park. It was a rainy day but that's okay. I have nothing anymore. My only friend is gone. I wish I could've saved her.

I seen a boy sitting on the swings. Just another human that's living.

I'm alive but I'm not living.

I sat up in a tree. I really don't know how long I've been up there. It starts to get dark out.

The boy is still there. Is he just alive too? Maybe I should say hi or something. I'm not really a people person.

I get out of the tree because I really should walk home. My mom will have a panic attack if I'm not home.

As I walk past the swings I make eye contact with the boy. "Hi." he whispered.

"Hi." I said back.

"Are you okay? I know you don't know me but I see it in your eyes." he said.

"I'm uhm I'm fine." I said as a small year rolled down my cheek.

"I'm jaime." he said while wiping away my tear.

"I'm abbey. " I said.

"I don't know what you're sad,but darling you'll be okay." he said and hugged him.

His hug was nice. Warm and very welcoming. I'm glad he was at the park today. Even tho I just met him I feel as if I really know him.

"Jaime,do you think she's an angel?" I asked.

He nodded. "And I'm sure she wants you to be ok again. And I'll help you. I promise." jaime told me.

We sat there watching the stars. I felt ok again.
