Maka prepares ongiri with a basket of fruits and veggies. She walks to the training field and sees Naruto with his team. She waits behind a tree and then sits down. When the team takes a break she calls him over." Hey Naruto!" She smiles. He smiles "Hey Maka! What are you doing here?"." I'm going to the marketplace soon, but I saw you and thought I say hi"."oooo, what are selling?". She softly smiled and showed him the basket "it's food we watered the other day!". He looks in awe "cool". "Hey dead last are you finished?" Sasuke said behind him. Maka looked at Sasuke and grinned." You must be Sasuke right? Naruto talks a lot about you" Maka said. Sasuke blushes a bit and said "yeah that's me"." Well you two must be hungry? Would you like something?" She said holding out the basket. The two looked at each other. Naruto smiles "Yeah!". He picks a apple,while Sasuke looks at the basket." Do you have any tomatoes?" He asked. Naruto started laughing and Maka giggled." Yes I do here" She hands one to him." Do you think that girl would like one?" Maka points to Sakura." Oh, Sakura! Come over here!" Naruto yelled to her. She got up and walked to them." Hey girly, would you like something?" Maka smiled. Sakura stared at the basket." Um are you sure?" She worries." Yes it's ok. Whatever you like!". Sakura chooses a apple too. " Thank you" the team says. Maka saw Kakashi and and offered an apple to him. He takes it and she leaves to the marketplace.

She sends hours there and gives it to the old couple she works for. She leaves the market and eats the ongiri she made earlier. She hums a tune and walks home. On her way there she sees someone at her house. It was naruto waiting for her. She laughs " are you hungry again?". He looks behind him " oh no, I'm waiting to tell you something!" He says. She puts the basket down and walks inside.

The two sat down at the table and Naruto began to tell her about the chunin exams." Are you gonna do it?" She asks."Yeah of course! I can't let Sasuke beat me!" He grinned." Well good luck Naruto! If you need help on training or anything, I'm here to help!" Maka smiled. He jumps and leaves the house.

The Chunin exams

"This is the form?" Maka asked." Yeah!" Naruto yelled. The both were on the training field helping Naruto train." It seems scary, no? I mean what I remember is it being very hard and chilling." She shivers." No me! I'm Naruto Uzumaki of the leaf village!". She smiles " well hopeful you can 'beat Sasuke' at this"." You bet!" He jumps.

Maka walks around to see Sakura walking with the form. Sakura sees Maka and waves at her." Hello" Sakura says to Maka." Oh hello dear!" Maka replied. Maka looks at the form " are you gonna do it?" She asks. Sakura looks down " I don't know. I'm not sure if I can". Maka looks at her with sorrow " oh girly. You know that the others can't participate if your not up to it right?". Sakura nods." Well I believe they will need you and Naruto speaks to me about your helpfulness! I bet you can do it!". Sakura looks up at Maka with a bit more hope." I'll think about it" she says." Ok, oh and are you hungry?" Maka questions." Um no not really" she replies." Ok well feel better about it ok? Bye!" Maka says waving. Sakura waves back and looks at the form. Will they really need me? She thinks.
