It sure was difficult to trust her words. But what other choice do they have? Nothing, that's for sure. "Our best choice is to help." Freddy said calmly. "And how?" Monty asked, skeptical. "I don't know about you guys, but finding those arcade games would make it easier." Roxy said casually. "Well, it's just two more arcade games of that princess quest. Let's split up and find them" Bonnie noted. "And if we find them?" Foxy asked. "That is something I don't know what to do about." Freddy murmured.
"I think some of us should go meet Gregory and the others go look for those arcade games." Chica suggested. "That guarantees a 78.63% chance of efficiency!" Helpy said out of the blue. "Sure, yeah that makes sense." Monty agreed. "So three parties? One goes to the 2nd arcade game, the second group goes to the 3rd arcade game and the third group looks and stays with Gregory." Freddy said. "Sorry Fred, but I think you should be on either group 1 or 2." Bonnie stated. "What why?" He asked. "Foxy hasn't been updated and very familiar with the place. And Chica gets distracted easily out of all of us. Sorry, no offense to both of you." Bonnie said, shyly. "Nah ye be right." Foxy said. "That's true!" Chica said.
Freddy looked at Bonnie. "And?" he asked. "And you know this place the most." Bonnie said. "It would be optimal for Bonnie and Roxanne be in group one, Monty and Freddy in group two, and Foxy, Chica and I in group three! Us three can just scan for Gregory's location that'll make it easier to go to him. And besides, it provides an equal distribution between everyone. With Monty, Roxanne and Foxy more leaned towards the fighting and "Helpy suggested. Everyone looked at each other and nodded their heads. "We can go together then split up." Monty said bluntly towards Roxanne, Bonnie and Freddy. The poor father bear, Freddy, looked a bit upset due to the fact he wasn't with his precious son, but he willing agreed.
Distinct stomps were heard as the animatronics in the Pizza Plex made their way down the dimmed halls. To make things... less awkward, Bonnie decided to strike a conversation with Roxanne, who was walking beside him. "So um, how you've been doing?" he asked. Roxanne turned her head towards Bonnie and gave him a glare. "You're talking to me? Seriously me?" She asked. "Um yes?" Bonnie responded. "Geez, I don't see the appeal towards a bunny but sure, we can chat." she said. "Alright haha." Bonnie replied as he awkwardly laughed.
Freddy then looked at Bonnie and Roxanne, who were in front of him. He gave a small smile and looked at Monty. "Look Monty, they both seem to be getting along!" Freddy said, sounding like a happy child on Christmas morning. Monty looked at Bonnie and Roxanne and noticed how awkward Bonnie looked like. Especially with him fiddling his fingers and not maintaining eye contact with the wolf. And Roxanne looked honestly bored. "Yeah sure Fred. They totally look like everything is fine." Monty said, hoping that Freddy would notice it eventually. Boy was he wrong. "Yup! Aw it's so sweet!" Freddy replied.
"Do you think it's possible to meet our other counterparts?" Chica suddenly asked as Foxy and Helpy turned their heads towards the chicken. "What ya said lass?" Foxy said. "I mean. I heard from that little crying child. C.C. I think, about our older counterparts. Even Michael said there were other animatronics like us before us." Chica said. "I want to meet them. Maybe ask them how they've been. You know? Maybe us Chica's could be like sisters or something. I don't know. Just a random thought that came into mind." she said. "Well I guess ya pirate friend here is also curious bout my previous counterparts. Wonder how they used to perform, ya know?" Foxy responded.
"Well, according to my database, there is a 13.7% chance of an encounter with the different counterparts over the years. Especially with how run down some are, and the others either burnt or unrecoverable." Helpy replied. "There are the Originals, Toys, Withered, Springlocks, Funtimes, Rockstars and Scraps. Though according to mister Afton, there was an encounter he had before with some Phantoms but he claims they aren't real. Same applies to the Nightmares he and his brother witnessed." Helpy stated. "That be a lot." Foxy said. "But don't it raises your curiosity Foxy? What were their performances like? Their location?" Chica said happily. "Well yah I guess." Foxy responded. "Why you sound so... upset?" Chica asked. "Just hoping that I didn't disappoint the other Foxy's by being removed from the Pizza Plex for a time period." Foxy murmured.
Gregory felt like those awesome detectives in the old tv shows. With the cool coat and hat, glaring at the 179th suspect they caught in the span of their entire career. Better yet, getting the answers he was looking for. And apparently, he did want answers. To so many questions that plagued his mind for so long. Well, if you considered his stay in the Pizza Plex long after the whole incident.
He didn't want Sun or Moon knowing that he... had these questions and thoughts that swirl in his head constantly. Or that keeps him awake at night sometimes. So he assigned the daycare assistant to "stand guard and wait for the others" right on the stage platform that leads to the parts and service. So yes, he is alone with a half ex-security guard and half cult bunny killer. But that's exactly what he needs.
Not only that, Gregory was getting some intel. According to his observations, Vanessa switches with Vanny every 15 minutes. So he has 15 minutes to get the answers he need before they swap. So he waited for Vanny to swap back to Vanessa before he asked.
It took a while, but Vanessa opened her eyes to the inside of the protective cylinder. Seems like the kid made the right choice to temporarily trap her inside here. "I want answers." Gregory immediately said. "And I want them now. Direct to the point." he said. "Um, sure." Vanessa responded. Gregory took a chair and sat down, facing Vanessa. She decided to sit on the large chair where the animatronics would usually lay down. Though she sat upright.
"What happened to cause this whole Vanny thing to occur?" Gregory asked. Vanessa sighed as she looked the kid straight in the eye. "I was told to test this VR game. I found out late that the game had this glitch. Glitchtrap. A digital manifestation or version- I don't even know- of William Afton. Then tada, Vanny." She said as she gave a not so jazzy jazz hands.
Gregory sighed and decided that was probably the best answer he was going to get. Mostly because Vanessa has no clue when it comes to these things. "Alright, um, are you aware of the times when Vanny takes over? Or like, can you see what Vanny is doing?" Gregory asked, trying to make the questions as simple as he can. "No- and thankfully so. I don't think I can handle it..." Vanessa replied. "Well that's no help what-so-ever." Gregory mumbled. "Um, last question?" he said, checking his FazWatch to see he only had a few minutes left before Vanessa switches with Vanny.
"How do I know that you aren't lying?" Gregory said with an awfully monotone voice. "What?" Vanessa asked, her voice slightly quivering.
"You heard me." Gregory said. "How can I be oh so certain that you are all so innocent and unaware of these murders and other mischievous crimes Vanny made? How do I know that you are just pretending to be unaware of all this to lower my guard only to find a knife stabbed to my heart?!"Gregory slightly yelled. "I never wanted to harm anyone! I am 100 percent unaware of any of this!" Vanessa also slightly yelled back.
"Then how do you know how to possibly free yourself if you don't know anything about you being controlled by some evil bunny!" Gregory shouted. "I found out just recently okay! " Vanessa yelled. "Well I'm starting to doubt everything about you and Vanny is saying!" Gregory replied. He was putting the tough child act. But in reality, he is terrified of what Vanessa or Vanny might do. He doesn't want to go back to the streets, he doesn't want to go anywhere but the Pizza Plex. And he doesn't want to lose the new family he has. Even if they were animatronics. So of course he is slowly getting cautious towards the blonde lady.
Vanessa sighed. "What can I do to help you believe me?" Vanessa asked.
I'm super duper sorry for the super late upload. Though I'd like to say that act 2 is slowly coming to an end! ^^ But don't worry, there is still act 3. Love you lots and thank you for your support and patiently waiting huhu TwT.
