Chapter 6: Wendy's First Day

And since it's my first day today, I need to do my job so I don't get fired from here right away. I started cleaning the kitchen and when I was done, I went out to water the plants.

I took the garden hose attached to a faucet, it was quite heavy because it was long so I pulled it with all my strength.

"Need help lovely?". I saw Nick, one of Mr. Jackson's body guards.

"No, it's fine. I can handle this." That's how Pinays are, when we can do something, we don't immediately ask for help. Besides, only when it's needed. 😆

"Lovely, I can help you, I know you are tired." He must have noticed that I was having a hard time pulling a garden hose. The length of this hose is giving this weight.

Also, who is Lovely? My name is Wendy.

"I said, its fine, and fyi, my name is Wendy, not lovely." I said sarcastically.

"I just wanna call you Lovely because you are beautiful. I mean, I can't take my eyes of you, you're just beautiful.. like those roses." He showed me the red roses in the flower box. I don't know, but I appreciate what he said.

"Uhm.. tha-thank you?" I didn't know what to answer so I stuttered. I'm also not used to talking to anyone. English here, English there. The headache.

He chuckled. Nick is cute, his blue eyes are also beautiful and his blonde hair looks so soft.

Uhm, wendy? 🙄

While I was fixing the hose, I looked in the direction of many body guards and a man holding an umbrella.

Mr. Jackson!

I saw the clothes he's wearing and I am stunned. I don't know but, I find him attractive.

He was smiling at the bodyguards and seemed to be saying something. He looked in the direction of Nick and I, I don't know if I was blind but he was walking towards us.

I just smiled as he approached us. I'm sure he will greet me so I'm ready.

But, when he was close to me, he just passed me and went straight to Nick.

"You have to come with us." He told Nick in a cold tone and he just passed me again like I am invincible.

"Yes Mr. Jackson." Nick followed him.

I don't know but I was a little sad. I expected him to greet me because I was talking to him earlier. I was just looking at Mr. Jackson back while he was walking holding his umbrella, but he suddenly stopped and went in my direction.

I was nervous and pretended I was fixing the garden hose.

"Earlybird, I need you to clean my room by 5pm, come over, okay?" He said while adjusting his shades.

"Uh.. y-yes Mr. Jackson."

After that, he left me and went to his guards. They got into a limousine and left. He has a meeting.
