Chapter 28: Watcher

Everything is not easy for me. What happened was painful but I couldn't do anything. What can a "maid" like me can do in this situation?

I watched the neverland while holding my suitcase.

I sigh.

Please Wendy, don't cry again. Stop your tears and just accept everything.

"Miss Wendy, I want to say thank you for being one of my good friends here in neverland." Sir Bill told me.

I couldn't stop crying at what Sir Bill said. I hit him a little, I'm gonna cry.

"Sir bill, you make me cry again, I hate you." I jokingly told him.

He chuckled.

"I'm sorry Miss Wendy, but, I'm serious, good luck to your new journey. I will miss you." - Sir Bill.

"Sir Bill~" I couldn't help but be hysterical and just hugged him. I almost consider him the older brother of the ranch. 😭

He just patted my back and I was like a child crying to him.

I let go of my hug from him while I was still crying.

"Don't worry Wendy, I know Mr. Jackson is thinking about this.. he's a nice guy, its just that, he's afraid of his father. And i know, he will make a way for you to comeback. He loves you Wendy."

"I ended our relationship Sir Bill."

"YOU? Hm, did he agree?" - Sir Bill asked me.

Hmm.. did he agree? As far as I know, he didn't answer.

"He's just standing there, looking at me with a blank face." I explained to him while imitating the face of Mr. Jackson.

"Hahaha, that's it! It's not over.." Sir Bill said laughing.

"But silence means yes right?"

"Not always, trust me Wendy."

"I don't think so."

The gate of Neverland opened, signaling that the car that would take me to L.A. was there. I felt a weight in my chest. Sir Bill accompanied me to the gate of Neverland.

"So, this is a goodbye then?" - Sir Bill.

"It is what it is..haha"

"I don't want to say good bye, because I know you will come back."

Sir Bill is always hopeful.

I looked back at Neverland and saw Mr. Jackson from afar. He was standing with one hand in his pocket. I want to approach him but I don't have the courage to do so.

I ended everything that came between us. I said it myself in front of him.

"Oh, Mr. Jackson is watching you. See? He can't resist you. He wants to see you before you leave."

"No, he's just standing there, enjoying the magical and his wonderful neverland.." I answered Sir Bill sarcastically.

The driver opened the car door and I got in. Sir Bill put my suitcases in the compartment of the car.

The driver dropped me right in front of my uncle's house and I thanked him. While I was carrying my suitcase, I went to the door and rang the doorbell.

Ding dong~

I rang the doorbell several times but no one opened the door. I'm worried, what if uncle isn't here at their house?!

I rang the doorbell again but no one really opened the door. Until I screamed like an engot.

"Uncle!!!! Uncle!!!"
