2: Meeting The Crew (Edited)

To M's relief, none of them had noticed her yet. They all seemed to be occupied with something else. Everyone from the show was there: Sun, Moon, Eclipse, Lunar, Earth, the Bloodmoon twins, and Ruin.

Something seemed wrong. Wasn't there one more? M took a step back, only to trip and start to fall. But before she hit the ground, someone caught her. Looking up, she saw the one animatronic missing from the group.

Killcode.

He smiled down at her, his red eyes glowing.

"Why, hello, there," Killcode said in his deep, raspy voice. He picked M up completely, making her squeak in surprise. He walked into the daycare, calling out to the others. "Everyone! We have another one!"

All of the other animatronics looked over to them, their eyes landing on M. She tried to get down from Killcode's arms, but he just held her closer and tighter.

Moon was the first to speak. "Who are you?" He simply asked.

"M," M said in a quiet voice.

Sun tried to take a nicer approach. "KC, could you set her down? She seems to be a little uncomfortable."

Killcode set M on the ground, and she smiled slightly at them.

"You're not with Creator, are you?" Eclipse asked, coming over with the Bloodmoon twins and Ruin.

"N-no, of course not!" M exclaimed. "Why would I ever work for that idiot?"

Eclipse smirked. "A temper. I like that."

A hand touched M's shoulder, making her jump. She turned around to see Killcode standing over her, frowning at Eclipse. Thankfully, Earth came over and had all the others move away from her—Minus Killcode, who refused to move.

"What's your name, darling? I don't think we were able to hear you the first time," Earth asked, giving M a motherly smile

She swallowed, then said, "I-I'm M."

"Is that short for Emily, or..." Lunar questioned.

"No, i-it's just the letter M," M told him.

"How did you get here?" Earth asked in a soft voice as if trying to make sure M felt safe.

M smiled. "I came through a portal I opened up. My friend was also supposed to come through, but we split up while jumping." "You can open portals!?""Who's your friend?""Do you have any other powers?" Everyone started to bombard her with questions, minus Earth and KC. Her eyes widened slightly, and she turned around, hugging KC and closing her eyes. "Too loud, too loud, too loud..." She muttered, burying her face into his chest. Killcode wrapped his arms around her and growled at the others, who stopped talking. He stood up straight, still holding M. "Alright," Earth said quietly. "One question at a time. Where did you come from?" M just shook her head. She didn't want to think anymore. Her head hurt, and she wanted to sleep. She felt so, so tired... And she felt pretty comfortable being held by KC like this... She started to drift off to sleep, resting her head on KC's shoulder. The others stared at the now-sleeping girl, surprised at how quickly she fell asleep. And on Killcode of all animatronics! "I'm taking her to get some rest," KC stated, walking over to where they kept the sleeping bags for when it was nap time. Killcode tucked her into one, giving her a small Moon plushie to sleep with. He smiled at her. "Don't worry, little M. I will keep you safe in this world. You will be safe."
