Chapter 3

(Mia's POV)

'If the Bey club won't listen to me then i'll make her admit it' I thought as I followed her back home. She walked into a dark alleyway and into some sort of woods or forest, I was pretty sure we walked out of beigoma tho. I hid behind a tree recording her, and waiting, but she didn't do anything she just threw her bag at a tree and sat down cross-legged. It kid of looked as if she was meditating she looked peaceful kind of. Then a bunch of birds and other animals surrounded her and she started talking to them. 'She seems quite normal maybe I did imagine it, I should probably just go', but when I turned around I stepped on a twig and she looked at me. It was as if her eyes pierced through my soul like a knife, but then she just smirked / smiled and said,

Suki : Didn't expect to find you here (she said sarcastically)

Mia : Well...I ...Uh

Suki : Relax i'm not gonna bite, but I should probably apolagize from yesterday though 

She said scratching her behind her head with her eyes closed

Mia : I guess, but I shouldnt've followed you in the first place so I guess it's both of our faults kind of

Suki : Yeah, I guess

Mia : So why didn't you tell them about the ghosts and stuff

She hesitated for a moment

(Suki's POV)

'I don't know how to respond to that question should I tell her everything and let my secret out and make her possibly hate or not'

'It's probably better worth the risk I guess'

Suki : I couldn't just let my secret out it was my first day and I don't want people bothering me even more ya know

Mia : I guess

Suki : You see I'm a Shaman and I have the ability to see ghosts and possess them it's quite cool once you get used to it

Mia : Okaay

Suki : Just ask me any question and I will answer it for you Okay

Mia : I'm still so confused though like what is a Shaman

Suki : Oh well you see a shaman is a person who ties the spiritual world and physical world together and keeps balance on both sides, there are different types of shamans such as healers , Kami-class Shamans and Itakos, etc

Mia : Okay I kind of understand it now

Suki : see now you're getting it

Mia : So What kind of Shaman are you ?

Suki : Well I can read minds and i'm an Itako

All of a sudden Mia turned pale

Mia : Wait so you've been able to read my mind

Suki : yep and I know who your crush is (I said very calmly)

Mia  : Great now you know all my secrets and can read my thoughts

Mia : Can you control it

Suki : nope not at all I really hate it and think of it as a curse but i'm use to it I guess

Mia : So how does it work ? 

Suki : well it's driven by loneliness but, oh well

Mia : Anyways so why did you come to Beigoma ?

Suki : Well you see both my parents died, and I moved to to live with my Grandparents and my cousin in Izumo, it was alright then but the training for being a shaman was always hard then and then my cousin moved to tokyo and so me and my siblings thought it would be quite cool to move to Beigoma, plus we had friends over there so it wasn't all that bad.

Mia : huh all right, Is it ok if I ask how did your parents died?

Suki : oh no I don't really care much about that, but basically my dad was murdered at 30 when I was 9, we still haven't found the murderer but I my grandparents think they know, and my mum died during childbirth at 31 when I was 10, I don't really know what happened to the baby I just remember it's name that's all. I mean like fair enough I guess it's quite hard giving birth to that many kids and not feeling so tired.

Mia : Wait, so How many siblings have you got ?

' 1...4...7'

Suki : I think i've got 6 siblings

Mia : wow that's quite cool but how did your mum die at such a young age ?

Suki : Well she had my older brother when she was about 16 i think something like that

Mia : So what happened to your other siblings ?

'She seems really interested like genuinely interested maybe she can be my friend I can entrust this secret with'

Suki : Well my brother is in the U.S and my sister was at Australia but then she got scouted for B.C Sol they both left once my parents died so yeah

Mia : It must be so hard for you ,I feel so bad for the way I treated you, do you wanna a hug?

Suki : Nah i'm good I feel like weights have been lifted off of my shoulders it feels so great to talk to someone about this

Mia : Wait so are all your other siblings shamans or just you ? 

Suki : Just me, My dad wasn't a Shaman so I inherited this from my mum, I mean i guess shemust've had at least 1 shaman kid out of 7 ya know

Mia : yeah it's just so incredible

Mia : Wait why do you have to train when your a shaman, I thought it was like and ability like you can never forget it you know, like riding a bike or something

Suki : It is, it's kind of like my sixth sense it's just we have a competition kind of thing coming up to be a shaman king

Mia : what's a Shaman King ? 

Suki : You see there are Shamans from all over the world that participate in this to become Shaman King, and when you become Shaman King you can like be omnipotent, that's why my cousin moved to tokyo because he's participating but I don't really care about that kind of thing but my grandpa is forcing us both to join but I can't see any harm in that so i'm doing it now.

Mia : Nice, well uh I better get going it's getting late, want me to walk you home?

Suki : Excuse me ?

Mia : I mean like as friends 

Suki : Ohh, well it's ok i'm gonna stay here a bit but i'll see you tomorrow byee

Mia : byee

(Mia's POV)

'Wait a minute I don't know the way back'

Mia : I'M LOST !!!

NEXT CHAPTER: WELL NOW THAT SUKI HAS CONFESSED EVERYTHING WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT ARE THEY GONNA STAR A NEW FRIENDSHIP OR COULD MIA BE UP TO SOMETHING ELSE ??

I guess this chapter was basically just Suki talking about her past, well anyways
