DID is a mental health disorder/condition. Living with DID, you will have two or more separate identities. These identities will control your body at different times, each one will have its own personal information.

These identities are called head mates or alters. Do not purposely call an alter the name of another alter. That's just as bad as calling somebody someone else's name purposely. Its rude.

DID can lead to memory gaps and hallucinations.

Dissociative identity disorder (DID) used to be called Multiple/split personality disorder (M/SPD)

This disorder affects your life negatively and is nothing to joke about or pretend to have. Faking it is not cool or aesthetic or fun. Its stupid and makes people who actually have it feel worse about themselves.

Don't fake mental disorders of any kind.

Anygays, DID is very rare, it affects between 0.01 and 1% of the population. It can occur at any age but for it to form you'd have to have had trauma between the ages 5-10, when your identity was forming. There is no such thing as a endosystem or any form of 'systems' that exist without trauma.

DID is like a defense mechanism for your body. You can't control it. It just happens.
