Marinette was sleeping in her bedroom when she is woken up by her cellphone. She sits up, "Huh? Happy birthday-ow!" she leaps down her stairs and collides with a mannequin of hers. She then recovers and spins around, "Happy birthday!" she sits down in her chair and turns on her computer, revealing a desktop background of Adrien Agreste's pictures, "Ah! Happy birthday, Adrien." she makes kissing noises towards the screen, freaking Tikki out.

Adrien brushes his teeth.
"Happy birthday, Adrien!" Plagg brings a piece of Camembert cheese wrapped with a red bow.
Adrien plugs his nose and looks disgusted, "Ugh, Plagg! Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face!"
"Huh?" Plagg eats the cheese, "Mmm."

Lila hums the "Happy Birthday" song as she dresses up for Adrien's birthday, "What do you think Pollen?"
"You look beautiful, my Queen!" Pollen compliments.
The brunette smiles, "Thank you." she picks up her present for the blonde, "I'm sure Adrien will love this."

Marinette walks down the stairs with a gift in her hands while her mom drinks tea in the kitchen.
"Marinette, don't forget to clean your room after school today."
"Mom! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya." the bluenette complains.
"Fine, I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff, like your e-mails, your diary-"
Marinette has a nervous face, "Okay! I'll do it, I'll do it." she rushes over to her mom and gives her a kiss on the cheek before heading to the door.
"Have a nice day, sweetie!"
"Happy birthday-I mean, Have a nice day!" Marinette leaves the home, waving to her mom.
Sabine has a confused look on her face before shrugging as she drinks her tea.

Adrien eats alone at a big dining table, looking sad.
Nathalie walks in, handing the blonde a tablet, "Your schedule, Adrien."
"Thanks, Nathalie." Adrien takes the tablet as the woman starts to leave. He holds a hand out to stop her, "Hey, uh, my father get back to you about my birthday party?" his face lights up.
"Well, um-He doesn't think it would be a good idea."
The blonde scoffs a little, turning away, "Of course he said that."
"Happy birthday, Adrien." Nathalie then leaves.
...
"Mademoiselle Lila, the cupcakes you and Mademoiselle Chloé made for Monsieur Adrien are ready." Armand hands her a box of cupcakes.
"Thank you, Armand." Lila smiles at this as she takes the box, "Chlo, you ready to go?"
"On my way, Lily!" Chloé rushes down the stairs, holding her present for Adrien.
The two link arms and walk outside the hotel.

Nino blows bubbles as the school bell rings, he, Ryder, and Adrien standing outside of the school. Marinette and Alya hid behind the banister and Chloé, Lila, and Sabrina were still inside the school.
"Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer?" Nino asks, "You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little."
