Lila rolls up the banner she created for the race and ties it together before setting it in the limo.

"You made the banner for the race?" Chloé asks as she gets in, "I thought Dupain-Cheng would make it."

"Alix and Kim both approached me after one of my drama classes. They wanted to pay me to make the banner and when I asked why they wanted me to make it, they said that Marinette would most likely end up being late." Lila explains as she gets in, shutting the door.

"That's often the case." Chloé says as the limo starts driving them to the Trocadéro.

Lila takes out her phone and texts both Kim and Alix that she was on her way with the banner already.

...

Marinette walks down the stairs and sees her mother putting a flower in her hair.

"Well? With or without?"

"Uh, with?"

"You're sure it's not better without?"

"Either way, you look perfect, mom." Marinette reassures.

"You know? It's not every day you celebrate your twentieth wedding anniversary." Sabine holds her daughter's hands.

"Marinette! Can you come here a minute, please?" Tom calls out to his daughter before turning to her as she ran over to him, "Well?"

"Well, what?"

"My mustache, I groomed it. Is it too short? Should I shave the whole thing off? Maybe it's a little crooked on one-"

"You look perfect, dad. Uh, except for one thing." Marinette points at his dirty baking apron, which he is still wearing.

"Uh? Thanks, sweetheart." Tom runs off to change.

Marinette chuckles, "No problem dad!"

...

Marinette ushers her parents out the door, "You're going to be late!"

"Now don't forget Mrs. Chamack will be coming by to pick up the Eiffel Tower cake in 30 minutes." Tom points at the cake, "I'm depending on you."

"Yeah, yeah. No sweat, piece of cake." Marinette shuts the bakery door, her parents leaving as Tikki reluctantly flies out, "Wow, married twenty years. That's pretty cool, huh Tikki?"

Tikki forces a smile, "Time flies when you're having fun."

"And stands still when you're doing homework." Marinette picks up a book.

...

Marinette's parents sit down to eat at Le Grand Paris.

Tom notices someone and waves.

That someone, Alix, waves back at him as she and her dad were sitting at another table, "They're Marinette's parents. You know, one of the chicks in my class?"

"Yes, I remember. They make the best bread in the whole of Paris." Mr. Kubdel notices one of Alix's sneakers, "Couldn't you have made more of an effort to dress nicely?"

"What do you mean? I took off my cap." Alix gestures to the cap that was placed on the table.

"But this is a special day."

"Well, it's only a birthday."

He tuts, "No, this is a special birthday." Mr. Kubdel reaches inside his jacket pocket and takes out a watch, "This family heirloom was made by one of our ancestors many, many years ago. It's been passed down from one generation to the next, on their 15th birthday. And today, it's your turn to inherit it." he slides the watch to her.
