Third person pov:
It's been years since her parents left and she still feels empty and hurt. Each time she remembers, she feels like drowning. The memories are ever so strong, from the moment they died to the painful way she became a slave. Even now, imprisoned, she feels the pain. Anishia lay inside the hot humid cell. "That's two days in a row", she heard a voice say. "Yeah, whatever," she mumbled as she tried to sit and hold her head up. She had just been thrown into the cell, the second day in a row, as her fellow prisoner and slave, Anita, had said.
"Why won't you stop trying to fight, Ani?", Anita said as she crawled over the grimy and stinking floor to hold Anishia. "I've beaten my personal record Anita." Anishia joked as she held her throbbing shoulder and tried to laugh away the pain.
"It's not funny, Ani. Each time you try to rebel, you always get beat up so bad and thrown in here without food! Why can't you see reason? I don't even know what's pushing you!", Anita lashed out at Anishia as she tried to clean up her bleeding knees with a piece of her own cloth.
Anishia pushed her away as she yelled, "I'll tell you what! I'm fed up with my life Anita! I've been treated horribly all my life and now I'm tired of it. I want to be free. I want to live". Anisha burst out in tears as she continued. "Anita, I once lived a great life, you know. I had loving parents, a great family and everything I had ever wished for. Then it was all snatched from me in a twinkle of an eye."
Anita stared at her in surprise. "What do you mean?", she asked, "Weren't you born a slave?". "No I wasn't. I think I'm going to have to tell you everything, so you'll understand my pain.", Anishia replied.Book created by two people my idea but written by my friend and sister favor lawani
