"Vidhya she has no relatives , no parents , nothing joined the collage through scholarship and she used to work in a cafe. That what we collected from her friends" "what cafe" I asked.

"It's mount cafe" she replied . I then quickly rushed to change my cloths. "Vidhya don't tell me your going to that cafe" Rupa asked. I changed into a simple Chudidhar then quickly exited my hostel. Not after replying them a quick 'yes, don't worry I will be safe".

I took my scooter then reached the Mount cafe. It was not that much big but not small . Soon I entered and went towards the cashier guy to ask about the manager.

"Hey can I meet your manager, I have something to discuss with her" I said to him. For a minute he looked at me then went towards a back door. Soon a elder women exited the door with the cashier guy.

"Yes dear, what can I help you with?" She scrunched her brow and asked me. "Mam I am here to ask about Malathi" for a minute I see her looking at me weirdly

"Malathi has left her work, dear."She shares. "But, madam, can I find out when she resigned?" I enquired.

"Dear, she gave me no information. She didn't answer the phone when I called to inquire about her absence. I assumed she didn't want to work, so I speculated that perhaps she wanted to resign,"she says.

"Thank you mam"I tell her and she nods her head then leaves the place. Soon I exit the cafe and start my journey towards her last location.

Where are you Malathi?

UNKNOWN PoV:

A dimly lit room in an old, abandoned warehouse. The air is heavy with tension.

She sat, her hands trembling, in a dusty chair that had seen better days. Her eyes were puffy from tears, but a glimmer of determination remained. Across from her, He leaned against a crumbling concrete pillar, his face shrouded in shadows. His face was covered by a cloth only his eyes were visible.

"Please leave me . I did nothing to you" she begged, he laughed at her. "What have I done to you, please leave me. I have to go" she tells me.

"Your not going anywhere. I just asked you to complete a task but instead you refused then tried to track me" he smirked full of evilness evident in his eyes.

He neared her , she was tied to the chair with the iron chain wrapped around her hands , legs and her body. She trembled in fear as he neared her.

"Ha , the fear in your eyes brings me joy" he spoke as he stood in-front of her. "Your sick" she spits in his face. "Uh-uh you did a mistake here" without a second thought he killed her with no remorse on his face.

She was now drenched in her own blood. Her dead stare was met by his face. With no regret for what he had done, he stared back at her.

He uttered the phrase "many to go" while laughing. The knife with blood markings was in his hand.

A horrific murder of a young woman and several more were witnessed in the darkness.

I was crossing the road to reach Malathi's mobiles last location. The location was near a abandoned building, it was not safe for me to go alone there. I am not that stupid.!

I reached the police station, I rushed inside looking for Jeeva sir . "Sir" "hey , Vidhya ?" He asked.

"Yes sir" I replied. "What are you doing here at this time Vidhya? Don't you know it's dangerous to travel at this time ." He scolded me softly. He sounds like my bro sometimes .

"Sir , it's fine. I am here to talk to ACP sir. is he inside" I ask him. He rises his eyebrow and looks at me with a mischievous look.

"I am here to talk about something important." "Sorry dear , he is in a important meeting" he tells me.
