Suddenly, I felt a mysterious touch on my foot. It was like a jolt, and it yanked me from my slumber. I squinted at the clock – it was 3 a.m. I examined the spot where I'd felt the touch but found nothing. "Must've been my imagination," I muttered to myself.
Then, the voice called my name. Slow and deep, it resonated through the silence. A shiver ran down my spine, and without understanding why, I found myself on my feet, moving towards the main door. It was as if I was in a trance, not entirely in control of my own body.
I unlocked the door and began to walk down the dimly lit corridor. I followed the voice, getting closer to it with every step. After a while, I saw a figure sitting in the shadows. I couldn't make out the face at first, but I could hear sobbing. The sobs were audible now. As I got nearer, the person raised their head, revealing a familiar face – it was my uncle.

We hadn't seen each other in a long time because of family disputes that had driven a wedge between us. I was about to ask him why he was crying when he stood up and began to walk away. I called out his name repeatedly, but he paid no heed, his footsteps echoing down the corridor.

I trailed behind him, not knowing why I was doing this. Suddenly, he stopped dead in his tracks. I moved closer to him, and he remained perfectly still. My heart started racing with confusion and fear. I inched closer, the air heavy with tension. He remained unmoving, and I extended my hand to turn him towards me. But as he slowly rotated, his face came into view, and it was a horrifying sight. His features appeared severely burnt, as if he had endured the scorching flames of hell. A scream escaped my lips, and my world descended into darkness.

When I awoke, my pulse were still pounding. As I regained consciousness, I questioned myself, "Wait, was that all just a dream?" I glanced at my phone – it was still 3 a.m. The nightmare had felt so real, its impact lingering long after I had awakened.

I poured a glass of water, trying to calm my racing heart, and eventually, I went back to sleep that night. It could have all ended up here, but will it really?
