My exams were approaching rapidly, and I was swamped with preparations, pushing my strange experiences to the back of my mind. After my exams, I decided to seek help. However, the intensity of my year-end finals completely eclipsed my previous concerns.
One night, as heavy rain pounded against my window, I finished studying and headed to bed, feeling utterly drained. I grabbed a glass from the table to quench my thirst, but as I lifted it to my lips, a strange sensation washed over me. The glass slipped from my grasp, and my body crumpled to the floor as if all control had abandoned me.
Lying there, unable to move, a horrifying realization struck me: I wasn't breathing. Not a single breath passed my lips. Fear gripped my heart. Was this death? Alone in my apartment, with no one to notice my demise?
My mind raced, desperately trying to regain control of my body, but it remained unresponsive. My eyes were wide with terror, as if they had witnessed something unspeakable. Suddenly, a rush of air filled my lungs, and life flooded back into my limbs. I sprang to my feet, drenched in sweat.
What had just happened?
The following day, I sought medical attention, undergoing a battery of tests. The results, however, revealed nothing out of the ordinary that could explain my terrifying experience. I returned home, my mind teeming with unanswered questions.
