Elenora was walking around in the forest, just like she did any other day. She was waiting until the sunset, that is when she would meet up with Thackery, her best friend and lover. Her sister had forbidden her from seeing him, but Elenora was never one to follow rules.

Unlike her sisters, who practiced dark magic, Elenora practice light magic. She did not agree with them feeding off the youth of children so she never took part in it. She didn't need to anyway, she was nearly twenty years younger than them. She was their baby sister, only 16, but a witch nonetheless.

She heard the familiar voice of her sister, Sarah, "Come little children, I'll take thee away."

Elenora heard the familiar giggle of Emily Binx, Thackery's little sister.

Elenora went inside, knowing her sisters would force her to come anyway. Her sisters circled around a little girl looking as old as ever.

"Oh Elenora, you're just in time," Winnie said as she placed a hand on Elenora's shoulder.

Elenora heard a creek come from one of the windows, when she turned to look she saw Thackery looking in. Both of their eyes widened. Her sisters must've heard it to as they looked over, but thankfully he ducked out of the way just in time.

"You need to return Emily," Elenora said to her sisters as Emily looked at her with wide eyes.

"No," Winnie said, "We need her to become youthful. We have aged to much." Winnie walked over to the window and opened it, "What a glorious morning. Makes me sick!"

"Sisters," Winnie called as she closed the window. Mary and Sarah came running in.

Elenora walked over to Winnie's spellbook and attempted to conceal it from her sisters to save Emily.

"Elenora! Out of the way! You are blocking my precious book," Winnie said as she shoved Elenora out of the way, "Mary!" Winnie called as she pointed her over to the pot.

"I don't see sister Sarah or sister Elenora helping," Mary muttered to herself.

"I lured the child," Sarah said sticking her head through the ring of a ladder.

"Leave them be, Sarah's done her job and Elenora will just mess it all up," Winnie said grabbing Mary's ear.

"I shall be back sisters," Elenora said as she walked out of the house, "Thackery!" She whisper-yelled.

She found him climbing up the waterwheel and she climbed up right behind him.

"I can't get them to let her go, they want her," Elenora said.

"Just follow my lead," Thackery said as they climbed into the second floor through a window. They pressed their bodies against the floor.

Elenora nearly threw up when her sisters started throwing toes at each other. Mary looked up and almost caught the two but Thackery rolled away and Elenora shrunk back against the window.

"I smell a child!" Mary exclaimed.

"What does thou call that?" Winnie asked pointing to Emily.

Elenora thought this was the perfect time to try and save Emily as all three of her sister were distracted. She quietly lowered herself down and dropped to the first floor despite the silent protest from Thackery.

Elenora grabbed Emily's arm and helped her out of the chair but Sarah noticed them.

"Winnie! Elenora is trying to help the child escape!" Sarah exclaimed.

Winnie whipped around and shot Elenora with a blue blast and Elenora crumpled to the ground unconscious while Winnie put Emily back in the chair. Thackery had to fight from screaming at the witches.

Elenora groggily began to pull herself up with a nearby chair and she saw her sisters begin to walk towards Emily with there potion.

"No!" Thackery shouted, jumping up from his hiding spot.

While her sisters were distracted, Elenora pull herself up. She watched in horror as Thackery jumped down from the top floor.

"A boy!" Her sisters exclaimed.

"Get him you fools!" Winnie exclaimed.

Thackery and Sarah and Mary played cat and mouse around the cauldron before Thackery and Elenora dumped the whole thing out.

"My potion!" Winnie exclaimed.

"Emily!" Thackery yelled as he ran over to his sister. Elenora cried out as Winnie shot him with her powers.

"Winnie! This has gone far enough, let Thackery and Emily go!" Elenora exclaimed as she knelt down beside Thackery.

"Never!" Winnie yelled.

"Winnie, look," Mary whispered pointing to Emily.

"No!" Elenora screamed as her sisters began feasting on Emily's youth. Winnie shot her with another blast causing her to fall to the floor right beside Thackery.

Thackery and Elenora began pulling themselves up using a stool and watched in horror as Elenora's sisters became youthful.

"I am beautiful! Boys will love me!" Sarah exclaimed.

"We're young!" Mary said.

"Well, younger." Winnie corrected.

"You hag! There are not enough children in the world to make thee young and beautiful!" Thackery exclaimed.

"Did you hear what he just called you sisters?" Winnie said, "Whatever should we do with him?"

"Let's barbecue and filet him," Mary suggested.

"Hang him on a hook and let me play with him." Sarah said dreamily.

"Let him go and live the rest of his life happily?" Elenora tried.

"Book," Winnie said as she flipped through its pages, "Perfect. His punishment will not be to die but to live forever with his guilt."

"As what Winnie as what?" Mammary and Sarah pestered.

"Twist the bones and bend the back. Trim him of his baby fat. Give him fur black as black."

"No!" Elenora cried out in horror as she watched Thackery's form change from a human to a black cat.

"Now for Elenora, I may be angry at her, but I would prefer not to have my baby sister hung. So, immortality shall haunt the girl, never young but never old. Let them think she isn't a witch. Forbid her from being a snitch." Winnie spoke, and as she did so, Elenora fell to the ground unconscious.

Elenora woke up to the panicked sounds off people searching the house.

"Are there any signs of Thackery?!" A man yelled.

"Nothing!" Another man yelled.

Elenora slowly stood up and walked towards the door.

A woman ran up to her with tears streaming down her face, it was Thackery's mother, "Ella, are you the one they spoke of? There next victim?"

Ella was the name she used to introduce herself to the townsfolk. Elenora looked confused and she looked around. When her eyes landed on her sisters deceased bodies hanging, she knew what they had done. The black flame candle.
