Hello, KN here!
In these current days, I'm sure all of you have heard of the terrorist attacks that have been led by the Hamas against Israel.
These horrifying attacks have caused many things to occur; dividing many and sparking hatred.
In my school, there was a fight that was rooted in this conflict. My school leaders then decided to speak up, declaring that hate has no home in my school!
If y'all didn't know, I have a DeviantArt account where I post my artworks. Today, as I was posting something, I noticed that instead of the Monster Mash contest, there was a #PeaceForIsrael sign. I clicked on it and started reading.
I then knew I had to show my support, so I made this artwork.
I wanted to show my support to the thousands who have lost their lives due to these horrible attacks. And I want those families to know that they have my support.
I don't care if you're Christian or not. I don't care what you identify as. These innocent people NEED our support.
So whoever you are, I challenge you to show some sign of your support. Maybe post something on your Tumblr or fanfic account. Maybe on your social media accounts, I don't know.
But listen, in these times which are hard and filled with hatred, let's be the light, the love, that the world desperately needs.
Smile, laugh even. Give off your happiness and let others be touched by it as well. Maybe lend a hand to someone. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Be nice.
You can never know what is going on behind one's eyes. You can never know what one has experienced. So instead of fuelling hatred, hurt, rudeness, discomfort, etc. be the first to spark love, joy, peace, happiness, gentleness- HOPE.
You may not be able to change the world, but can you change someone else's world?
I'll leave y'all with that thought.
I hope that my words have fuelled something in you. Or at least rekindled something in you. But whatever the case, please be kind to everyone and anyone. And let's all pray for Israel and all the families who were affected by these devastating attacks. Show your support and let's all be UNITED in #PeaceForIsrael!
