Chapter 20

(Y/N's POV)

My eyes feels so heavy, i can't feel any pain anymore. Everything is numb. I can hear the tinnitus ringing near my eardrums. I tried to take a deep breath but my lungs can only allow me to take shorter breaths. I can feel myself slowly dying.

Father...Mother...Uncle... Is this how my pathetic life  is ending? It started badly, and ending badly too. A death that shows how weak I am. I looked at my uncle who seems to be shouting around as he is carrying me. The doctor and the nurses rushed in to help me. I don't know if i deserve to be survive. I fail to be a good sorcerer with my useless curse power. I failed to continue the Kamiho's bloodline. I failed to be a wife. I failed to be a good daughter. I failed my life.

"I.... I'm sorry....", I muttered under my breath, apologizing to my uncle before i was pushed into the operation room.

The doctor put the gas mask, the gas that I breathe in makes me feel lighter and high. My eyes slowly closed and I drove into my dreamland.

In Y/N's dream (Timeskip to when she's playing with Noritoshi as toddlers)

"Y/N-chan!! You cooked so well! I love you, my wife", Noritoshi as a kid complimented me. I looked around to recognize the surrounding. I realised this is the Kamo clan's residence. What am I doing here? Why I'm playing with my husband? Was this 14 years ago? Why can't i remembered a single thing about this?

"Anata! (Means Love/Honey in Japanese). Why are you not talking?", young Noritoshi distracted younger you from your deep thoughts. "Ohh, Noyitochi-kun?", younger you called your husband's name. Ehh why my voice changed? I was so surprised with it. Suddenly, I realized i actually in the body of 4 year old me. Of course I'm still talking like a baby though I can talk fluently. "I am sorree. You like the pood iee cook?", I talked. Oh I remembered him now. I feel like a huge burden in my brain lifted up.

Reader's POV

They played with each other as husband and wife at the backyard of Noritoshi's mansion everytime the Kamiho and Kamo clans have meetings.

The dream didn't last long when she shifted into another dream. A dark dream. She watched young Kahashi choked her when her parents weren't home. She tried to escape from his tight grip. She was only 6 and Kahashi was 11. Kahashi's eyes were blinded with darkness. "Ka-kahashi...", Y/N said. Why is he trying to kill me? What did I do wrong. Poor Y/N doesn't know anything but she was the victim for her butler's attempted murder. Then she dreamt about her dangerous curse power triggered by Kahashi after the dream shifted again.

That's how she remembered everything that she forgot about. She finally knows why she was traumatized badly even at a very young age. The Kamiho blamed themselves for sending their young female heir to have an engagement with young Noritoshi but that's not the problem.

And on the last dream, she saw....Tsubaki and Kahashi worked together to end the marriage of her and her husband.
"What do I get if I seduce him?", Tsubaki asked Kahashi.
"¥12 millions yen", Kahashi said. "If you can destroy the marriage, I'll double up the payment", he continues his talk. Y/N eyes widen up. Kahashi is the villain of the story. SHE FELL FOR THE WRONG MAN.
So, Noritoshi was...brainwashed and cursed by Tsubaki.

*GASPS*
Y/N gasped as she finally woke up from her sleep.
"Y/N! You're awake!", her dad greeted her. Her mother who was knitting next to him, dropped her needles. "MY Y/N!", her mother shouted. "You have been in coma for a month. Are you okay, my daughter?",her dad said. "A month? That's such a long sleep", Y/N said. At the same time, Gojo and Noritoshi were entering into the room, just to get welcome by conscious Y/N. "Y/N, you're awakee", her uncle rushed towards her and hugged her right away. He can't stop pecking her forehead, as if he missed her a lot.

Noritoshi only dare to watch from the door. He knows his marriage is not a game and his wife has been distant from him eversince they were married.

The doctor came to check Y/N's current situation and she is allowed to go home the next day. Once the doctor leave, Y/N watched her gloomy looking husband.

"Toshi...Come here", Y/N called him. Noritoshi looked up at her and walked to her. He can't stop missing her. His childhood lover.

They hugged and won't stop hugging. She remembered him, and he is also now cleaned from Tsubaki's seducing curse.
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry for not being a good husband", Noritoshi hides his face at the crook of her shoulder. Y/N chuckled and pat his back. "It's okay, Noritoshi. We all..made mistakes. As long as I'm alive now, I would like to be your one and only wife", Y/N confessed.

Noritoshi's parents walked in to visit their daughter in law just to watched the romantic moment. "I promise I will be yours only. I will always love you, my wife", Noritoshi said before he bursted into tears like a baby. Y/N laughed but she continued comforting him.

"Thank you", Y/N said.

"Nyeh, you two always been cheesy since kids. Now that you two remembered what really happened, those cheesiness came again", Gojo said. "That's why mother and father asked me to find you a bride, idiot", Y/N's mother scolded her younger brother. Gojo only giggles, he has always get nagged by his lovely sister. Maybe being single wasn't that bad.

The next day, Y/N was discharged and she was allowed to follow her parents home. Noritoshi joined her to go home to Kamiho's clan.
During lunch, Noritoshi can't stop looking nor dare looked away from his wife even for one second. "Son...Your wife won't be gone anymore. Eat the food. Don't let your food waiting for you", his father in-law told him. He smiled shyly and decided to eat. He took a peek at his wife  who was actually looking at him and smiling. "Noritoshi....", his father in law called him again. "Ah yes , father. Forgive me", Noritoshi said as he continues eating.

After lunch, Y/N decided to go to her room and rest. Noritoshi keeps on following her from behind. Once they arrived at her room, Y/N sat down on the sitting cushion. Noritoshi sat infront of her , across the table. Y/N then slowly pulled out an album under the table. The album looked old and vintage. She cleaned the album before putting it on the table. Afterwards she flipped opened the album to her pictures with Noritoshi as kids. On that exact moment, Noritoshi moved his sitting position next to Y/N, sitting closely with his wife.

"Look. I remembered everything now. About you and me. I used to hate these pictures because i thought you're the reason i have shitty childhood. I'm sorry for thinking so", Y/N said as she moves her gaze to Noritoshi. Noritoshi only looked at her with his dearly eyes. "I know. It's fine, Y/N. We both are victims", Noritoshi said. He pulled her gently into his embrace and they cuddled for the whole evening while looking through the album.

One of their sweet memories was when Noritoshi gave Y/N a bouquet of flowers. Those flowers weren't bought with money but he actually planted those flowers and waited until the flowers to grow and bloom. Y/N named the bouquet as "Honey Hubby's Flowers". Young Noritoshi and her really love honey, so they called themselves as Honey Hubby and Honey Wifey even if they're still kids.

After looking through the album, they both fell asleep into each other's arms.
