Ena's POV:
My eyes wondered around the theme park, looking for Amia. My heart was racing. Yes I know she knows what I look like, but the online world is different to real life. Why was I so anxious about this? It's not like I like them or anything. I knew what I was looking for, a girl who loved pink, pink hair, maybe some pink clothes. Anything cute and pink was what they were wearing.
That's when my eyes laid on that person.
"They're actually prettier than I could have ever imagined." I mutter to myself under my breath. Amia was beautiful. Their hair was tied up into a side ponytail, a red ribbon tied into a bow, holding it up. She was wearing a pink skirt with white tights and pink fluffy boots, her shirt and jacket both black. They were stunning.
My cheeks flushed a faint shade of red as I made my way over to the person.
"Umm excuse me. Are you... Amia?" I asked cautiously as the person turned to face me her pink eyes widening as they looked at me.
"Enanan. Hey!" Amia said back with a bright smile on their face. My heart melted. How can a person get even more perfect?
"H-Hey." I stutter out. Well done Ena you just ruined it. I mentally slap myself at the stutter. I had been avoiding an angel, yet Amia doesn't hate me. And I don't know why? A little giggle left Amia's lips, only causing my cheeks to reden even more than before. She's so perfect!
"Well let's get the awkwardness out of the way. Call me Mizuki." Mizuki smiled at me as she extended her hand as if we only just met.
"Call me Ena." I respond as my hand clasped hers and shook if firmly. Her skin was so soft. We finally let go, I felt an awkward silence begin between us but she quickly shut it down.
"Well since I've dragged you out of your house how about we... go on some rides?" Mizuki suggested as she shrugged her shoulders. I firmly nodded my head, not wanting to mess this up. Before any other words could be said Mizuki grabbed my hand and dragged me to the rides. Her giggles only fueling my own laughs.
We spent hours together. Playing games and going to on rides. Her smile was like a bright light in my life, it warmed my heart to see her so happy. I can't believe I wanted to ignore them. To ignore their existence. I don't love her, I don't have a crush on her, but she's too close of a friend to loose. Their precious smile is all I care for and I'm never going to ignore them again.
As the night neared it's end, or rather as our time together neared it's end I decided I wanted to win Mizuki something, to remind them of our time together. That's when I saw the perfect pink Phenny plush, waiting to be won by someone. I grinned. I silently detached myself from Mizuki's side and went to the playable ring toss to win the Phenny plush. It took a couple tries, I don't really have the best aim, but I finally won it.
The worker passed me the pink, big Phenny plushie and I ran to Mizuki.
"Close your eyes." I say from behind Mizuki, though she questioned it, she did as I demanded. She held out her arms and I have her the Phenny plush. When their eyes opened they sparkled with happiness.
"Ena! Thank you!" Mizuki gleemed as she pulled me into a tight hug, I of course blushed as I hugged her back.
Mizuki's POV:
Ena walked me home, I didn't exactly expect her to do that but she did which was really nice. We didn't actually speak on the topic that I wanted to talk to her about, but we had a good time so I'm glad I asked to meet her.
I ran to my room, closing the door behind me and sitting on my bed, the pink Phenny was just so cute! It matches my aesthetic so well.
I didn't think much of it, but my heart was pounding, I knew I had a crush on Ena but it's even bigger now. I rushed to put my PJs on, getting into bed and hugging the pink Phenny Ena gave me to sleep.
