Book 1 - Chapter 1: Arrival

On a very fine day, UA High had a new transfer student. Her name was Kana Hiromi, and she came from a wealthy family. She has two brothers studying overseas, all separated.

Kana's POV

As I entered the school grounds, I spotted many students surrounding the area. They seemed to be gossiping about me, probably also about my ability.

It was a long way to the principal's office, but I finally stood in front of the door. I entered the room to see Principal Nezu sitting on his chair, seemingly expecting me.

"So you like the school so far?" He asked.

"Yes, it's quite nice. Clean, too." I replied with a smile.

"You're seated in class 1-A, down the corridor to the left of the 3rd floor." Principal Nezu handed me a paper with my locker number as he spoke. "You should go to class first, as it's about to start." He said again with a smile on his face, leading me to the elevator. "Enjoy your first day at UA High, Miss Hiromi!"

I smiled gently back at him as I entered the elevator and went to the 3rd floor. I saw my locker, and I was quite lucky to have it close to the classroom. I put my things down and proceeded to class. There, I saw some students chatting. They didn't notice my presence, but I don't care anyway. I didn't want to be bothered at the moment anyway.

After a few minutes, a teacher entered the class. He introduced himself as Aizawa-sensei, our homeroom teacher.

Aizawa's POV

"Alright, class . Listen up. We have a new student joining us today. Please introduce yourself."

"My name is Hiromi Kana , and my quirk is Domain Creation." She spoke in a soft but confident voice.

"Your seat is behind Sero. Sero, please raise your hand."

Sero raised his hand, inviting Kana to the seat behind him.

Kana's POV

I went to the seat assigned to me, sitting down as I finally could relax. Suddenly, Sero spoke up.

"Yo, aren't you the daughter of the wealthy family, the Hiromi family?" He asked in a curious but excited tone.

"Yes, I am." I replied, trying to smile to make the conversation less awkward.

"That's so cool! Why don't you hang out with us during break time? You look cool." He asked again. I reluctantly agreed. After that short conversation, we continued to focus on class.

A little while later, we had training. I decided that I did not want to show my quirk that much, so I just did some small moves. For example, I just made some portals to teleport and attack training targets.

Midoriya's POV

I was observing Hiromi as she went her turn, trying to figure out how her quirk works. I took down some notes about her abilities and so on. Suddenly, there was a loud explosion. It was as if she had Bakugo's quirk.

"What happened?!" I screamed. Jirou told me that Hiromi just accidentally mixed two portals together, which can cause an explosion.

Bakugo's POV

"What the [nice word] just happened?!" I shouted at Kana as she tried to close all the portals.

"Just a small accident, nothing much." She replied with a somewhat calm tone that surprised everyone. It was as if this had happened before.

"Grr..." I growled quietly to myself as I walked away to process what happened.

Kana's POV

After training, it was finally break time. I followed Sero to a table for a group, and there sat Ashido, Kirishima, Denki, Jirou, and Bakugo. Bakugo looked at me with a glare of rage, but Kirishima told me he always acts like this. So it should be normal, like always.

As they chatted away, I couldn't help but zone out from the conversation. I was thinking: "The cafeteria is so big... it almost seems like a restaurant..."

"HIROMIIIIII!!"

I jumped back as someone screamed my name, but it was just Denki. He said they called me a few times, but I wasn't responding. I apologised as the conversation revolving around my training continued.
