Staring at the clock of Rhett's grandfather he whispered to himself, '' time flies but never looks behind, dont you also think that? Mrs. Noir? ''
Rhett looked behind and smiled at Mrs. Noir.'' The way you catch me everytime i come here never fails to give me goosebumps. How do you even do that Mr. Rhett Campbell?'' said Mrs. Noir.
Rhett smiled at her words and took the cup of coffee that mrs.noir brought for him.
'' I am a detective Mrs. Noir. And if i cant recognise people just by their footsteps, cant guess if anyone has stepped into the room, then will i be able to call myself a detective? '' Rhett said taking a sip of coffee from his cup.
'' As perfect as i wanted. Why dont you open a cafe mrs.noir? '''' Because if i open a cafe i wont be able to focus on other things which are more important to me than money mr.rhett campbell, '' Rhett nodded to mrs.noir.
Looking at the same clock that he was staring before, rhett said, '' Clocks have always been a source of interests for me when i was a child. I used to spend hours thinking why couldnt anyone invent a clock which can go behind and why does a clock always go forward but never stops? And when the clock runs out of battery, it stops but why doesn’t the time? And this clock is the first clock that i have seen which has been working for such a long period. Its my grandfather's clock. Mr. David Campbell.''
'' Mrs. Noir can you make me another cup of coffee? I think one dose of caffeine wont affect me. I have to take at least 2/3 doses as i will have to work on a new case today,'' said Rhett.
'' What is the new case abou- '' mrs.noir couldnt finish her words.
'' I dont talk about my cases with anyone mrs.noir you know that really well, '' rhett replied with a smile.
'' I should better get one more cup of coffee for you mr.campbell, '' mrs.noir said and left the room.
'' I wonder what will be the case that we will get today which no other detectives could solve '' Rhett said taking a sip of coffee.
