Sienne finally lets out all of the laughter she had been holding in while inside the psychic's shop.
"Elina you're in danger. I don't know why, or how, or when... but like trust me, I'm a psychic.", Sienne says sarcastically.
"I told you I didn't want to go in there. Psychics are so full of it."
"So you're not paranoid you're gonna die now?"
"No, she's just an old scam artist who pretends to know things for money."
"She was right about your indecisiveness though... Speaking of that, let's go see how Kelly's tattoo is looking."
We walk to the gift shop next to the alleyway and see Kelly and everyone else walking out. We're all feeling pretty hungry at this point so we decide to go get some pizza for dinner before heading back to the house.
"Hey did you guys know that there's a murderer on the loose in this area?", Mario says with a mouth full of pizza."
That's not what I want to talk about while I'm eating, Mario" Kelly says scowling.
"I saw it earlier on the news while we were waiting for Stephan and Gina to finish fucking. Some guy is going around kidnapping people and chopping them up. Well, not chopping them up, but they found a dead body!"
"We weren't fucking!" Gina says.
"Debatable. I heard through the door."
"Why were you listening through the door?!"
"Uh... Listen guys, I'm not trying to get chopped up by this murderer so we should all just stick together."
"If any murderer tries to mess with us, I'll just fight him." Jesse says with confidence.
"How do you plan to beat ass with a broken arm? How did that happen anyway?" Stephan questioned.
"I broke it playing sports" Jesse said.
"Sports? When?"
"Like a week ago... Hey I just looked up those murders on my phone and it says there's only been 2 around here and that there isn't concrete evidence that they're connected. So I wouldn't go around saying a murderer is on the loose."
"Whatever man, I'm just saying that we need to keep our eyes open." Mario says.
"Enough murderer talk! Let's all go around the table and say what we're going to do this summer" Sienne interjects.
Everyone at the table groans at the thought of a share circle, including me. I don't even know what I'm doing this summer besides attempting to figure out if I want to apply to grad school.
After dinner we all take a taxi back to the house. Jesse sits next to me in the back. "Did you watch Kelly get her tattoo?" I asked.
"Yeah, she's so brave. Nothing says strength like a henna anchor on the ankle." Jesse says with a smirk.
"Hey at least it wasn't an infinity symbol"
"True. Hey did you want to go for a quick walk on the beach when we get back to the house? I'm trying to digest this pizza a little before we start drinking." He asks.
"Sure, we can go for a walk when we get back."
Jesse is my closest guy friend. We've been friends since we were 9 when we rode the same bus in elementary school. It feels like I've had an on and off crush on him for a while now, but for the past few years we've been more on the friendly side. He's what I'd call your typical golden boy. All star athlete throughout school that always got perfect grades. Jesse has always been that guy I can trust and one of my oldest friends. He's one of those people that just naturally puts you at ease when you're around them.
