This takes place after season three.

He was tall and handsome. But, Opeli doubted he would ever see her as anything more then a friend but she still wanted to thank him. He had gotten her away from harm more than once.

Opeli straightened her robes and walked up behind Corvus, gently placing a hand in his shoulder.

He turned to look at her. "I- Opeli-I mean ma'am!" He continued to stumble over his words for a moment before he sighed and looked away. "Did you need something?"

Now it was Opeli's turn to try and find the right words. "I uh...I never got the chance to thank you..."

He tilted his head slightly. "What do you mean?"

"When Viren wrongfully took the throne you went out of your way to get me someplace safe. You could have just ran but you didn't... and it means a lot..." she adverted her gaze and looked at her boots. "And you also stood up for King Ezran when prince Kasif was here. That was bold of you..."

Corvus tilted his head further as Opeli looked back up.

She sighed. "I guess what I'm trying to say is... im sorry..."

"What?" He asked, startled and confused.

"Im sorry for misjudging you... I guess I got the wrong impression the first time we met... and that clouded my judgment afterwards..." she couldn't bring herself to look him I the eye.

Corvus tilted her chin up gently. "It's I who should be apologizing to you..."

"What do you mean?"

He looked away as redness came to his cheeks. "To be honist when we met... I thought you were the person who needed to have control over everyone... I also thought you were kind of prissy..." he grabbed the back of his neck and grimaced slightly.

Opeli placed a hand on his shoulder. "Well to be honest I do like to have control of the situation... and I'm not a fan of dirt but..." she removed her hand from his shoulder and took his hand. "I do know how to have some fun..."

He looked at her. "Really?"

Opeli nodded. "Yah, really."

As the two talked Corvus felt a pressure on his chest grow stronger and stronger. He sighed. "Opeli..." he finally said.

"Yes?"

He grabbed the back of his neck and looked away. "I-I there's something you should know..."

"what?"

He took a steadying breath and let it out. "I-I like you. I mean like... a lot. More than I like people I mean, You make me feel a different way when I'm around you and..."

Opeli watched him talk rapidly as his cheeks grew warm. She felt her own cheeks growing warm and she smiled. "Corvus."

"It like my chest gets all light and the world seems to stop..."

"Corvus?"

"Of corse I'm not saying that you are because your not but I am saying that your beautiful and..."

"Corvus!"

"That speech you gave the other day was fantastic I had no words I-I was speechless..."

"CORVUS!!"

He stoped. "I-yah?"

"Stop talking."

He hung his head. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to freak you out I was just-"

She grabbed his scarf and pulled it so his face was level with hers. "I said stop talking."

He gulped. "Sorry..."

She smiled. "Don't apologize...Just quit trying so hard... be yourself..." she whispered, looking at him with a smile. "Now are you gonna kiss me or not?"

He blushed and leaned into her soft pink lips.

Opeli's arms wrapped around his waist and she pulled him closer. "Corvus..." she whispered once they parted.

He was red. "I-do you want to do something later?"

"Are you asking me on a date?" Opeli asked.

Corvus blushed. "I-yah I guess I am..."

Opeli smiled. "I'd love to...meet me at the bridge at six?"

He nodded. "I yah... sure..."
