chapter 5 (moon child)

"I already told you, boy ... I don't need a worker right now , I barely earn enough money to fill my own stomach...Ahh, really ,go now ,kiddo ,"
The middle-aged man said and shook his hand as if he was whisking a fly .

"Ajusshi ,I just need a place to stay ,I don't want you to pay me ..."

"I said no, you brat child ...! You are not even strong enough to do a goddamn thing ... now go before I get angry...oh.. you fucking children I'm sick of you ..." the man said and got back to his place... left the gloomy boy alone .

Jimin took a deep breath ...trying to swallow hard and get rid of that painful lump in his throat.
It was the fifth place he had gone to with the purpose of finding a job ... and it all was for vein ...
Nobody really wanted to give a job to a helpless boy who seemed too young and weak to be able to do a thing .
There was no possibility that he could agree to live another moment in a cave or places like that .
He crumbled ... not knowing what to do anymore...
His stomach growled in hunger ...
It was almost sunset ... the last time he ate food like a normal human being was hours ago ... at Jungkook's place ..
It was so embarrassing when he went to buy some food and after searching everywhere he realized he didn't have his little bag with him anymore ... even had to come back to the place he had previously tossed his old Hanbok to search for his bag of coins, but nothing ...it was nowhere to be found .
He must have dropped It somewhere...
Maybe in the cave ... when that giant animal attacked him ...
So there he was ... all wounded and hungry... without having a simple place to spend the night ... the freaking cold night that was making his bones shake .

"Oh ... you are ... here ... thank God .."
The person said breathlessly as if he had been running a long way .

The small boy's head raised up immediately at the almost familiar voice ...
Oh .. it was the person he had talked to before
About a job .

"Hi, seonsaengnim," Jimin quickly said and bowed .

"I thought I lost you, boy ..." Said the man with a chuckle... "I've changed my mind ... that's why I ran like a crazy to find you again and tell you that I need you as a worker ... there is a lot of work, and I need someone to help me .."
The man stated, nodding at his own words.

"Oh ," Jimin looked at the man ... what a quick change of heart , he thought ...
"But you said you don't need me ,"

The man chuckled and shook Jimin's words away ...
"Forget what I said there, boy ... Do you need this job or not ?"

"O ...of course... I'm happy you changed your mind, seonsaengnim ... I promise to work hard and never let you down ." The small innocent boy said with a beautiful little smile, bowing repeatedly to show the man his gratitude...
As he was very happy he finally got somewhere to stay.

Today was a full week that Jimin had been working for Duri_shi .
He was a sword-cutler ... a nice, kind-hearted man who treated Jimin like his son ...
Jimin still didn't know why Duri-shi had accepted him when he formerly had declined to give him the job ...
It didn't matter, though... the small boy was glad that he did ..
He was safe and sound now , had a roof on his head at the freezing cold nights, not having to be worried to be ripped apart by a massive animal ,and that was enough .. for now .
His wound was almost healed ... even though a sharp pain would scrunch up his beautiful features every now and then , he was fine ..

Not that he wanted to , but he was kind of used to thinking about that handsome stranger that was a pain in the ass sometimes.
Actually, Jimin felt kind of guilty about the way he had treated Jungkook...
He could at least say goodbye and thank him once more ...
If it wasn't for him ,he would be dead and forgotten by now...
But where was he ? It wasn't like Jimin had run from him , he was just not there ... and Jimin was hurt because of the tall man's words... he had called him a freaking child ..
He wasn't, though .. and he wanted to show that guy that he was not a goddamn child ...
