The Blonde Girl - Ellie Roebuck X Y/N

Settling in day!

Y/N POV:
Today is the first day playing at Man City I moved in with Hempo, Es and Kerstin last night and that went so well we ended up just talking and chilling all night I'm still so nervous, I hope nobody notices.

"Y/Nickname! Finally you're here! We where waiting for you I didn't want you to have to walk in by yourself, it's just me and Es today though Kerstin decided to stay home she was way too tired today."
Hempo says with a laugh and this you see Esme walk out with a tray of three coffees and runs over almost spilling them.
"Y/N! Hi I got you a coffee" Esme says as she hands you the coffee almost spilling it as she passes it to you.
"Thanks Es" you say with a smile
"I'm so nervous to meet everyone" you say taking a sip of your coffee.
"Don't be! I'm sure they'll love you as much as we do" Hempo says comfortingly as she pulls you and Esme into a hug.
"You ready to go in?" Esme asks as she pulls away after a few seconds,
You nod as all three of you walk in and all eyes turn to you as everyone turns to see you, you see a few faces you recognise and a few that you haven't seen before. One person who catches you eye is a blonde girl you a haven't seen before standing in the corner with Alanna wearing some gloves so you assume she's a goalkeeper your thoughts about her are suddenly interrupted by Hempo introducing you to Alex someone who you briefly met once at an event and haven't seen in ages, you talk for a bit and meet the others then it's time to go and meet the goalkeepers.
You say hi to Alanna and Khiara but you can't keep your eyes off this girl she is absolutely gorgeous and her eyes are glowing in the sun as she maintains eye contact with you throughout the conversation until she eventually speaks up.
"Hi, I'm Ellie Roebuck it's so nice to finally meet you."
Her voice sounds so sweet and kind that your heart skips a beat hearing her speak.
Hempo nudges you to speak as she realises you haven't said anything for a few seconds and she exchanges glances with Esme as they try to figure out what's going on.
"h-hi I'm Y/N" you say to the goalkeeper stumbling over your words as you try to act cool leaning on a chair and you trip a bit trying to catch your footing.
Ellie giggles a bit at your attempt to act cool and your heart immediately starts racing and you blush as Hempo and Esme exchange a smirk as they see you stumble trying to impress Ellie.

ELLIES POV:
Oh my goodness, I can't believe she's actually talking to me, my crush, shes even more beautiful in real life. "h-hi I'm Y/N" she says to me stumbling over her words a little, she leans on a chair and trips a bit trying to catch her footing.
I giggle a bit, and I notice her  blush as Hempo and Esme exchange a smirk as they see her stumble.
As she walks away Alanna turns to me.
"She seems sweet" she says
"Yeah she's pretty cute" I tell her blushing a little watching her laugh at a joke Steph told her.
"Oh my god!" She slightly shouts.
"Lani what? What are you shouting about" I say as I usher her into the empty medical room so we're alone.
"You like Y/N?!" She shouts
"W-what? No I don't" I say stumbling over my words as she gives me a look.
"I didn't know you where gay?" She says in a sort of question.
"WHAT?! No no I'm not gay, I don't like her" I say in a raised voice.
She raises her eyebrow at me knowing I'm lying to her.
"I thought it was just a crush, I didn't think you seriously liked her.
"I didn't either until I met her in person" I tell her knowing she wasn't going to let it go.
"So you are gay" she asks gently knowing it was a sore subject.
"I don't know Lani" I tell her, my voice breaking
She quickly grabs my arm and brings me into a hug as I start crying.
"It's okay baby, you don't have to know right now" she says to me as she strokes my hair.
"I really like her but I don't know if I should tell her" I say tears still running down my cheeks.
"You don't have to tell her right away sweetheart, just ask her for food as friends and see where it goes" she tells me as I deepen the hug.
" good idea I'll try and ask her today." I tell her still engulfed in her arms
"Well you better run because it looks like she's leaving"
I pull away and turn around to see Y/N walking out the building towards her car, I wipe my tears so I look presentable and run towards her.

Y/N POV:
You finish talking to the rest of the girls and go to take pictures in your kit and with the manager once you are done with that you walk out towards the car where Hempo and Esme are already waiting for you when Ellie runs up behind you.
" Y/N! Wait up" she shouts from behind you
You turn around to see her running up to you her blonde hair blowing in the light breeze and her skin glowing in the sun.
"Hey Ellie, you okay?" I say to her, a bit concerned as she looks as if she had been crying.
"Yeah I just wanted to say hi and let you know that I'm coming down near you apartment tonight I was wondering if you wanted to hang out?"
You blush at the words hoping she meant what you where thinking.
"Yeah sure." I say smiling at her gently
"Great, we can go for food if you want I'll pick you up at 7 ?" She says smiling you can't help but look at her lips her smile is so beautiful she blushed when she realises where you are looking and you quickly respond.
"Yeah of course that's great I'll be ready!" You tell her seeing Hempo smirking out the corner of your eye
"Okay I'll see you later, bye!" she says as she gives you a quick hug and runs over to her car

You walk over to Hempos car where her and Esme are waiting and smirking, you know exactly what to expect, as soon as you get in the teasing starts.
"ooh Y/Nickname's got a dateee" she says teasingly, whilst smiling wildly at you knowing how much this means to you.
"I saw you blushing before, how happy are you!!" Esme asks you smiling gently
"You two are such children, it's not a date it's just food"  you say laughing as Hempo drives you and Esme back home.
