You both get into the car and start driving to the restaurant that Ellie picked, whilst talking about all things Man City.
Y/N POV
"you know you still haven't told me what restaurant we're going to yet, how do I know your not kidnapping me?" You say in a jokey tone
"It's a surprise" she says in a sweet voice whilst laughing, she smiles at your joke and your heart starts beating faster, so fast you fear that if she listened hard enough she'd hear it, you start blushing a bit and she notices.
"What's got you all flustered" she says whilst giggling.
I pause for a second not quite knowing what to say.
"Hello, earth to Y/N, you still with me?" She laughs, her laugh sending chills down your spine and you think of what to say.
"Yeah sorry my bad just got distracted by something outside the window, what where you saying?"
She looks over at you as she parks up, "I said what's got you all flustered"
The way she's looking in my eyes makes me what to kiss her, I don't think I've ever felt like this for anyone, especially a teammate.
"Would it be too forward if I said it was you" I say shyly.
"Me? What do you mean?" She asks as she looks at you with a soft smile suddenly giving you a boost of confidence.
"I mean you Ellie, you're absolutely gorgeous, that's why I'm flustered" I look down toward my feet not knowing how she would react.

ELLIES POV:

"I mean you Ellie, you're absolutely gorgeous, that's why I'm flustered" She looks down at her feet as she blushes harder than before.
Woah, she just called me gorgeous, the girl I've had a crush on since I was 17.
I get a weird fuzzy feeling in my chest when she says that, knowing I have to do something whilst we're talking about our feelings like this.
"Y/N" I say to her.
She slowly looks up towards me, making eye contact, I could get lost in those eyes forever.
I slowly reach my hand out towards hers and she gently flinches as I hold her hand.
"I really like you Y/nickname, like I seriously like you, I don't think I've ever felt like this before." I say to her whilst I still have that confidence

Y/N POV:

"I really like you Y/nickname, like I seriously like you, I don't think I've ever felt like this before." Ellie tells me, as she looks into my eyes I feel like I could stare forever at her gorgeous eyes.
I suddenly feel the same confidence as earlier and I gently lean forward and kiss her.
I pull away slightly.
"Ellie, is this okay?"
She nods and softly pulls me back into the kiss.
I slightly deepen the kiss as she runs her tongue along my lips asking for access.
Our tongues fight for dominance for a few seconds until she pulls away.
"Are you okay?" I ask nervously, hoping I haven't done anything wrong
"Yeah I'm fine but can we take it a bit slow, just have dinner and see where this goes" she says as she looks at me shyly then looks at her feet.
"Of course darling" I say to her gently while holding her cheek

ELLIES POV:

"Of course darling" She says to me gently while holding my cheek, her soft hands stroking it until she suddenly steps out the car.
She comes over to open my door and reaches her hand out to help me get out.
"Let's go eat" she smiles to me whilst reaching for my hand.
I grab her hand and we start walking towards the restaurant.
