Why was being a spider person so difficult?

She screamed as she ran over to the destroyed building and tears start flowing down her face as her body freezes in place after seeing she couldn't do anything to help the ones who were injured or possibly killed but yet it was a horrible, gut wrenching canon event that happened in front of her and her eyes, nothing could have prepared for her this. She had to experience her family being absolutely crushed by a bridge which had been thrown and broken apart by a villain but really what didn't help was the screams of panic with distress filled in them. But why did this all happen? Evelyn sobbed as she fell to the floor burying herself in her hands to cover up her face from anyone seeing the current state she's in, who had caused the whole thing? Miles. Miles morales. He saved her loved one while Gwen protested to let it happen, sadly this was the after effects. But Miles didn't know what to do and what could he do when he was the cause for all of this? Hearing the pained cries from Evelyn didn't help him in this situation, he stood there looking at her since he knew why it all happened. It was all his fault. Would he like to admit that in the current moment? Of course not, it wouldn't help with anything at all but only make it worse for poor Eve. He just called up other spider people to help her so he could go elsewhere and do who knows what, he felt guilty like as if someone punched him in the gut with a wave of anxiety. Thankfully Pavitr (Prabhakar) arrived after a few minutes with Hobie (Brown) then one heads over to the other so they spilt up. Pavitr went to Evelyn and he tried an attempt to comfort her, which didn't work because the grief was too much for her to handle.
