Chapter 5

Kenny POV:
I'm not tryin to let you go mamas I said to joc as she wraps her arms around my waist. Literally not even an hour after she got here she found out that she was leaving tonight. We decided to make the best of it and watch the movie brotherly love. Not even 35 minutes after we were all cuddled up in my bed her mom called. It was then when I knew exactly what her mom was gonna say. She got off the phone and looked at me with saddened eyes like she was about to cry. Babyyy i gotta go, i guess we're leaving like in twenty minutes instead of in 2 hours she says with tear running down her face. I've been with Jocelyn for 4 years we got together our freshman year of high school and man I didn't regret a single moment . It was on her birthday and I thought she was really cute so i asked her out and look where we are now. I ran up stairs to my room to give her a final present which was one for my favorite hoodies with my cologne on it. I had wrapped it up into a nice box with a letter inside that says read when you miss me on the front of it. We slowly make our way to the door, Jocelyn's tears are coming down more heavy and fast . I bite my cheek to make the feeling of needing to cry go away.
We walk outside to the drive way to just hug. It felt like hour but it had only been a few moments. Never thought goodbyes would be this hard, I mean when Josh left it wasn't that hard to say goodbye I thought to myself but was knocked out of thought when she let go. I lifted my head to see Maddie's car pull into her driveway. My phone starts going off with texts from Mari asking about tonight. I respond with well talk later and out my phone back into my pocket. Maddie walks over and gave Jocelyn a big hug. She ask if I was he reason she was crying and I gave her a mug. You know I've always kid a had a feeling that Maddie didn't really like me but I've never really thought about it. I mean I thought that we were all cool in 8th grade but I dint know. After Mads left it was just the two of us again. This mgith have just been the view but Maddie has a fat ass, I know I have a girl but I've never really noticed this about her and kinda like it not gonna lie. Jocelyn walked over to me and wrapped her arms around my waist. Imma love you forever Kamari she says before she pecks my lips one last time. I walked her over to her car and open the driver side door open for her. I gave her one last kiss and hug with her present. And just like that she was gone.
        I watched her white Jeep pull out of my drive way and disappear. As I turn around to go inside I see Maddie standing in her driveway looking at me. I give her a quick smile but go back inside to text Mari.

Mari: so what are we gonna do tonight
Me: idk did u talk to bri
Mari: yea she mentioned doing like watching the sunset and like swimming in her pool
Me : oh alr that sound good what time tho
Mari:7:30
Me:alr imma me there

      Surprisingly I didn't have much to pack. I mean I really only had to pack the bag I was gonna take with me in the plane. My mom and dad went down early so they could get it to my aunts house who lives 20 minutes from Florida State. I looked at the time and saw that it was 7:25. I knocked on her door and her younger sister opened the door I'm pretty sure she has crush on my but I'm not too sure. She let me in and I made my way to her backyard where the pool was. I see Bri and Mari all cuddled up on one of the the different pool chairs. I sat next to them and just thought. Why can't I stop thinking about Maddie, she's so cute and I just love her personality so much and i literally would do anything for that girl. But that s when the realization hit me, I liked Maddie but I have a girlfriend.
