Brianna POV: The air smelled different as if it knew something was happening today. But it was the same, the sun came up we all woke up in our nice warm beds and our comfy room. Oh wait that didn't happen, we woke up at 6:30 to go to the airport. I woke up on an air mattress and my sisters Justin Bieber blanket. My room was all packed and shipped to my dorm in Louisiana. I slipped on the outfit I had picked out the night before with Mari. It was just a simple hoodie and shorts with crocs. I walked down stairs to see my mom and my dad standing at the bottom of the stairs with my younger siblings. My mom looked like she had been crying, her eyes were all red and puffy.I didn't think that the second born leaving was such a big deal until today. I give my dad and siblings one last hug after I put my backpack in the backseat of the Jeep . Even thought we were all going to different schools we got to have one final car ride together to the airport. 30 minutes later The car ride that would feel like hours on a normal day felt like seconds. I never thought that the day would come so fast, the one where we said goodbye. We pulled up to the gate and turned the hazards so the police officers won't get mad and tell them to go park the car. The sky was already forming to be full of clouds shaped like different ice creams and different shaped blobs. I took a quick photo of the sky to post on my story.
My mom got out my bag from the back of the car and handed it to me. I set the bag down and just gave her the biggest hug. I've always had a really good relationship so saying goodbye was going to be the hardest to say goodbye. Call me and text me everyday i need to know that's your alive she says. I shake my head yes in response. I mean it Brianna im not kidding she said in a serious tone. Yes mom I will text u everyday i responded with an annoyed voice. I know she only means the best and wants to look out for me while im 3 hours away. But I feel like everyday is a little bit too much. Mari walks behind me and wraps his arms around my waist and plants a few kisses in my check. "Now don't let this distance break you guys up ok, there will be many challenges you guys will face but you can always count on trust," his mom said. I gave his mom one last hug before walking over to Maddie who was talking to Kenny.
Mari spent the longest to say goodbye. I think he's worried about what she will do now that he was going off to college. If there's anything I've witnessed from him is that he's definitely a mamas boy. He loves her more than anything in this world that's why playing football is sos important to him. But not long after they break apart after there hug he joins the rest of us. "Well let's get this show on the road," Kenny said giving his final hug to my mom.
We stood in front of the parents saying a final goodbye before we turned around toward the entrance. I wrapped my arm around Mars as we walked into the almost empty airport. Looking at the line at TSA I figured I would be able to get myself some Starbucks before my flight left. Getting through TSA was a breeze when no one was really at the airport. People were there just not as many as their normally was. After we went through the medal detectors and got our stuff back i saw that i had gotten texts from my older brother who is a sophomore in college. Text mode Deshawn : yo have a good flight ugly Me: aww thanks dickhead 🥰 Deshawn: yeah yeah text me when you land Me: I will Me: love ya Deshawn: ❤️ Seen End of text mode After collecting all of our belongings we made it to the center of where the different terminals were. And it was time to say goodbye. "Well it's an end of an era," Mari said. "I guess so," Maddie said in response. Tears started to pour down my face as we pulled out of our final group hug. Mari wrapped his arms around my head placing kisses on top of my head telling me that it's gonna be ok and that he would come see me and that we would see each other during breaks and holidays. I gave Kenny and Maddie one final hug.
Mari pulled out a big bag and a card and told me to open it whenever i get to my dorm room. Before i could walk to my terminal he pull me back as told me to call him once my plane landed and when she picked me up. I nodded and said i love you husband made my way to the Starbucks near my gate. I ended up getting a frozen mango dragon fruit lemonade refresher and a breakfast sandwich and went to my gate.

I'm so thankful that my seat was in the middle of the plane and it was a middle seat so i would have a good view of the clouds. As I walked on to the plan I was greeted by two flight attendants one was waking out of the cockpit and the other was right by the aisle. I made my way to my seat putting my back on the overhead compartment. After struggling for 5 minutes of struggling and asking for no help (bc mama ain't raise no weak bitch) I finally got it. As the captin started his normal routine I pulled out my AirPods and pressed play on my playlist thinking about the new opportunities that were going to come.
