—Knock knock—
-Kane could hear knocking at his bedroom door, so he wondered who it was. He stood up from his black office chair, walked reasonably slow to his bedroom door and swung it open.-
"Hm? Yes?" He spoke out.
-In front of the older man stood a woman no taller than him with black long braid and glasses, not to mention the blingy earrings which complimented her light pink cardigan. Her hands were holding each other as if she were slightly nervous or her hands were just cold.-
"Oh, uhm.." She seemed to hesitate momentarily.
-The moment their eyes meet she couldn't help but look away. A slight, nervous looking smile shaped out on her lips before she could continue speaking and she felt her face and ears become warmer.-
"I lost...-." She started
-Her smile drops into a guilty frown before continuing.-
"I lost the pencil you gave me last weekend..." Her voice dripped with guilt and shame.
-Kane smiled and stared attentively, watching how her lips moved and listened to her gentle voice.
Paying attention to each word that leaves her mouth. Kane snickered.-
"You lost the mechanical pencil I gave you? So what, you're asking for a new one?" Kane asks.
"Of course not! I was just thinking.. what if you wanted it back and turns out I didn't have it. I just wanted to tell you in advance." She explains.
-She then reaches from the pocket of her cargo pants and pulls out a rose gold colored mechanical pencil.-
"If you'd like I could just give you this one instead as an apology." The girl continues
"No need. It's just a mechanical pencil so there's no need to get so worked up about it." He tries to reassure.
-Kane leans against the wall they were standing by and crosses his arms just before the young woman invites herself in.-
"So what're you doing in here? You were awfully quiet." She asks as she wonders around Kane's room.
-Kane didn't respond for a few seconds. He focused on her movements and for a brief second he looked at her legs.-
"..oh, huh? I was reading." Kane explained as she then sat down on his bed.
