LUCIA POV

I dropped Felipe off at his work because he needed to do a few things, then drove to the mall to meet Tia to pick out wedding dresses.

I saw her waiting at the entrance for me, her lit up as she saw get out of the car.

"Ooh honey, i like your new car" she said engulfing me in a hug.

"Thanks, Tia" i said as we walked inside.

"Lets look at that store up there, i have high hopes" she said gripping my hand.

"Why?" I asked.

"Because that's where i got my dress, same with your mother" she explained as i smiled.

As soon as we walked in i saw the most beautiful dresses i had ever layed eyes on.

"Hi can i help you guys?" A tall male employee walked up to us.

Not gonna lie this guy was good looking.

"Yeah, my daughter in law is looking for a dress, specifically a gown" she added.

"Alright well, there should be some in that section over there" he said pointing us to the far left corner of the store.

"Okay thanks" i said to him.

We grabbed a few and i tried them on but only one of them stood out to me.

"You sure you want this one?" She asked.

"Yes, this is the one" i said as she nodded happily, tears forming.

"Why you cryinggg" i said giving her a hug.

"No nothing, your just so beautiful, and my son is very lucky, if he hurts you, I'm going to hurt him, just give me the word" she said holding my hands.

"He won't hurt me, but do you actually like the dress" i asked her.

"I'm happy if your happy" she said as i smiled.

"We should get this wrapped before Felipe arrives to try his suits" she said to me.

Suddenly i got a call.

"Lemme just take this call really quick" i said to Eliana.

"Yes ofc course sweetheart" she said gesturing me to go.

I loked at the contact.

I answered it.

"Hello?" I said waiting for him to respond.

"Hey My love, where are you guys right now?" He asked.

"Wedding gowns and suits store" i replied earning a hum.

"Okay I'll be there in 2 mins" he said.

"Okay bye" i replied.

"I love you" he added.

"I love you too" i say before cutting the call.

I smiled and went back inside.

"Who was on the phone" Eliana said curiously.

"Oh just Felipe, he's gonna be here in less than 2 minutes." I said as she nodded.

"Oh okay, after he chooses a suit, we can go look at cakes" she said as i nodded.

We went to get the dress wrapped and payed for.

"Just this one" The tall employee from before asked.

"Yeah that's all" i replied.

"How old are you if i may ask" he said trying to engage in conversation.

I could see where this was going but i wanted to be nice because what if he was just being friendly.

"I'm 18" i said searching in my bag for my card.

"Sweet me too, we should hang out sometime" he said trying to make eye contact.

"Umm i have a fia-" i was about to tell him i have fiance when felipe swiped his card across the machine before i could.

"Hey baby" he said wrapping his hand around my waist, sliding his hand across my butt before resting it on my side.

"Hi" i said blushing.

"Did you find it okay?" He asked as i nodded.

"What were you saying?" Felipe asked the employee.

"Oh- uh nothing, here's your receipt" he said avoiding eye contact.

"Appreciate it" felipe said snatching the receipt as we made our way to the Mens store to get his suit.

"What was that?" I asked as we walked out of the store.

"Nothing..." He said holding my hand.

"Oh really? Because if i didn't know any better, I'd say you were Jealous" i said holing onto his arm and squeezing his bicep gently.

"I have every right to be, and who told you that your allowed to pay for yourself, get the fuck outta here" he said mugging me.

He tried to open the box to get a peek at the dress.

"Nuh uh wait till the wedding" i said smacking his hand.

"Hit me again, see what happens" he glared as i just grinned.

"Leave her alone, and pick a suit, silly boy" Eliana smiled as he just rolled his eyes.

"Take your time, honey" i said taking a seat.

"Okay but what colour am i look for?" He asked.

"Black" i said as he nodded.

After a few minutes, he called Eliana into the dressing room.

"OH MYYY" She yelled.

"Shh mami" he said.

I heard sobbing, i rolled my eyes playfully knowing Eliana was crying again.

"Tiá don't cryyy" i said from outside the changing room.

"I'm not I'm not, come me and you will go and wait outside" she said pushing me gently by the shoulders making me chuckle.

We waited for him to arrive.

"Lucia?" She said as i hummed in response.

"Promise me something?" She asked.

"Of course, anything" i said not prepared for what she would day next.

"No matter how angry and stubborn Felipe may get, promise me you will take care of him no matter what" she said as nodded.

"Of course, what a silly request" i said as she just smiled, i could tell she was worried, that kinda made me worried.

"Okay, you ready?" Felipe asked coming out with a box that i presumed had his suit in it.

"Yeah let's go" i said as he smiled.

We made our way to the cake store and picked out a cake that would be eaten at the wedding.

"Ooh this one is lovely" i said looking at a cake that would go perfectly with our wedding colours.

"Is this the one you want?" Felipe asked.

"Well, are you happy with it?" I asked as he nodded.

"Well then, this is the one" Eliana said clicking her fingers to get the workers attention.

"We'll get this one, it will be picked up in one day" Eliana said paying and explaining to the worker.
