Adam's: POV

"A dog shelter, are we going to adopt a dog?" asked Emily happily. "Yes." I said. "Thank you so much dad." she replied and gave me a hug. "You deserve to have another friend after all that has happened." I said. Then we walked in and a girl came up to us.

"What can I do for you?" she asked. "We'd like to adopt a dog." I said. "We have a german shepherd who needs a new home." replied Bella. "What's his name?" I asked.

"Scooby." she said. "I take him." I replied. A dog went up to me and Emily patted him. "It must be you who's Scooby." she said and he barked happily. "I love you so much." said Emily and kissed his head. He licked me in the face and she laughed.

An hour later he slept in the backseat and he smiled in his sleep. "I promise to love you forever and I don't let anybody hurt you." said Emily.

Adam's: POV

I took Lily and Togepi to a playground. Scooby was with us too. They went down a slide and laughed. Then we went to a sandbox and Togepi built a sand castle. A young boy went up to us. Scooby growled low at him. He stood protective in front of Lily and Togepi.

"Hello, I'm Oliver Gliese." he said. "I'm Adam." I replied. "Nice to meet you." he said. I put my daughters in their double stroller. "Are you leaving already?" asked Oliver. "It's nap time." I said and started walking. "I hope we see each other again." he said. "Maybe." I replied.

"Are you ignoring me?" he asked. "Can you please leave me alone and stop asking questions." I said. "I'm sorry." replied Oliver. "Thank you." I said and walked away. I don't relax until we're on the way home.
